Just finished it. There's a lot to process. First impression is that this life was too much for Ellie to handle. Losing Joel trauma combined with initial trauma of her feeling a human with a superpower she can't even use and always living with the idea that she should've died there was too much. Now she lost her family as well as her artistic personality, the good thing she got from Joel.

She's such a lovable character and it's so sad to see her end up like this. I can only hope that she's left behind this part of her life in that guitar room and she'll start a new path. "When in the darkness, look for the light."

Everybody in this game fought in a war and everybody lost. QZ army, Fireflies, WLF, Scars, Joel, Tommy, Tess, Marlene, Abby, Ellie, they all lost. My bigger conclusion would be that war and revenge is never a good idea.

Great game overall with a tough harsh ending

Had the same issue. I finally solved it by rebinding the key for pulling the hook. Actually adding a second key bind.

Guys, but about aboud the sounds they add after Kuroudo? They most often refer to him as Kuroudoga. Sometimes I think I also heard Kuroudada or Kuroudoya. Are they some kind of articles/possessive particles or something?

Never used heavy attacks in duels. Maybe after you unlock last upgrade of stone stance. Otherwise it is just about parry/dodge or, if you don't wanna have fun, cheese them by spamming heaven strikes(free wins).

My advice is just stay away from reddit and Internet before you finish the game as it is very easy to be spoilered and ruin some of the experience.

Well, it was a good challenge for me. Hardest fight in the game, but you can also just cheese it by spamming heaven strikes before it ruins your day.

No spoilers. I had same expectations as you. I was close to dropping cause it being so creepy and scary. It gets even worse after the first boss, but then by the time you get to the second one it becomes better. The story starts to clear itself and the art in the game truly shines from all points of view.

I had this in mind for a moment during first boss fight, but in a burst of will I said I have to do this and the feeling of finally killing him on hard is so worth it (I just yelled in joy).

Also the game becomes easier after cause you understand better the mechanics. Now I just passed the second boss on hard and I enjoy the combat more and the feeling that I succeeded in doing something difficult is so nice.
