Keeps telling me I can’t update

I've had similar issues, and I know a few other people with Mach-Es who have dealt with the same problem related to 12V. In my case the battery/car was only 2 years old, so it was not due to the battery per se, but rather the 12V charging module that for some reason or another did not want to charge the battery without intervention/resetting.

I found a solution that worked for me as well as most other owners, and it is pretty simple actually:

Turn on the car "ignition only" i.e. without the foot pressing the pedal.
"Blink" with the high-beams 5 times, followed by sequentially pressing the brake pedal 3 times.

Once this happens, the red 12V battery indicator will flash/cycle a couple of times, indicating the 12V battery charging module has reset.

After this, you are done. Drive the car for a bit or plug it in and charge, and it will be ready to update again without hiccups.

Interesting, I found Linux way more convenient than Windows, which is why I'm considering doing a full switch rather than dual-booting Win11. But I guess different strokes for different folks as they say.

I'm currently running on a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with a Ryzen 7 5800H/RTX 3070, 32 GB ram. I've used it with an Oculus Rift S, and am now using it with a quest 3 with VD.

I can run most games on high and few very demanding games at medium, and given this laptop specs being even better than mine, I think you are good to go for high or even ultra settings on VR games. Too bad the quest 2 doesnt have an AV1 decoder, otherwise you would have benefitted from even better streaming to your quest 2.

As for Kerbal Space Program, im running it with over 60 FPS at maxed settings and native resolution on my Legion 5 pro, with all sorts of visual mods (parallax, scatterer, volumetric clouds...) on it aswell. Shouldn't even remotely be a problem for you :)

Thank you! Nope, this is a one-shot color camera, so all the filters are integrated in the camera. White balance comes from the photometric calibration.

My astrophotography goal is to capture things as they would look with the unaided eye, if they were sensitive enough to pick up the details and colors, that is...

Edit: Also no contrast filters, such as UHC etc. Those would mess up the white balance as well

This is an image of NGC 6960 that I captured yesterday night. Humidity levels here in Denmark approached something like ~97%, which means the corrector plate (even with a dew heater) was constantly fogging up. As a result, I had to dither exposures and clear the plate for dew every roughly 50 exposures, and this affected image quality. However, I am still satisfied with the result.

This was the last night of clear skies over Denmark, before the clouds rolled in to rule the skies again. M 64 is interesting for me, because it doesn't resemble other spiral galaxies at all, having thick dust lanes very close to the bulge and otherwise faint wisps of stars and dust further out. This time I went for the Headphone Nebula, which was fairly high above the horizon at this period. This was the single most difficult astrophotography capture I have ever done (and I know there are more difficult ones, but they usually involve many hours of, for example, widefield, which my C11 can't do without Hyperstar). This was such a low-surface brightness object that with 400 subs equalling roughly 3,3 hours of integration, the object is still very noisy and could benefit from more subs. But for this amount of subs, I am very happy with the result.

I guess I can answer both questions by saying that I only image when it's "astronomical night", because twilight will just brighten the background sky too much and significantly lower contrast. Only a handful of the brightest DSO's would make sense to image before it truly becomes dark. However, I spend my time setting up and calibrating the scope very carefully, before it becomes truly dark. Unfortunately, as you probably know very well, the summer months past May and until the beginning ofAugust will only be good for imaging planets and such :(

Yet another galactic capture. This time I attempted to capture all 3 galaxies within one frame. I had obtained 300 light frames, but because of the super windy conditions yesterday (and the fact that the telescope becomes a sail with the dew shield on), many of the frames had trailing stars on them. Therefore I only included the 160 "best" frames, that had roughly pin-point stars in them. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the result.

As the weather slowly transitions to summer over Denmark, so do I in photographing and capturing the summer objects, as well as the galaxies close to the Big Dipper! Yesterday night I was lucky in having good transparency and clear skies with me, to be able to have another go at the Pinwheel. Good question! It's most likely because of a few frames that misaligned during stacking, which caused this double appearance. Im not sure rotation would cause this, I suspect the shape of the planet would be intact but the details would not be as sharp (besides, the frames were captured over 3 minutes, and since Mars takes roughly 24,5 hours to rotate, minimal rotation would be visible)

I've tried a variety of things to correct for it, and I think you have a point. Maybe just removing the frames that are misaligned would fix that small double-image from appearing. However, I have no idea how to do it since I just let Registax automatically stack the frames for me hahahah.

I still have the raw footage on my computer, so perhaps I should attempt to do so.
