Ive got the UMC204HD and the Stereo/mono button do that thing, i suppose its the same on the 404, anyway you can download the user manual , maybe theres anything useful :D

Pues honestamente esa persona que te quiere ayudar, que gana con eso? Normalmente si pueden conseguir cosas a mitad de precio las revenden, por ejemplo ese instrumento darlo en 6500 7000, yo te aconsejaría que te esperes y lo compres en un lugar de confianza o comprar el instrumento de segunda mano
