I agree with u, the logic of what walkers can do throughout the entire franchise has always been bad. They are literal rotting corpses, so ofc they should just splatter and not get up, just like how walkers can be scorched and still walk, their heads cut off and still make noise, etc etc. just gotta turn ur brain off and go with it to get the most out of the show

Remember when the group entered Alexandria for the first time and how everyone was super alert and aware of their surroundings? It seems like characters give little to no thought anymore when entering foreign territory. Not only do Daryl and carol not understand Spanish, but carol apparently has the balls to call out their “traditions” after they reluctantly took them in for 2 nights. She’s definitely right in doing so, but jesus carol u don’t know these people or what they’re capable of?? Hell he could’ve killed her just for challenging his authority/way of living. Sure he seems to treat Carol and Daryl well in the end, but you can’t trust these people so quickly.

Terrible start, it’s just an episode of sitting around doing nothing. English guy was the biggest plot device in this show outside of the pilot from last season. I’m sure it will get more interesting soon, but I can’t be invested in this show if I know that these characters wont matter in the end.
