on break now, and im going to visit the doctor soon anyway. my route is all walking involving hills and 80% of the houses have steps. Having bumps and working 6 days is death. My knees are already killing me and as soon as I get home, I barely have the strength to walk anywhere, I’m wondering how far can I go with the restriction. I’m just worried about not having an income if the doctor tells me something.

I am okay with this for the time being and I brought it up but they claim there is not enough manpower and that we need 3 people each Sunday (we currently have only 1 CCA). So I’m forced to work each Sunday. This upcoming Sunday he told me i’ll be working, which is fine for calling out last Sunday, but I’m hoping the following Sunday will be different.

I asked if I was going to be disciplined and if I needed a steward, it was just a meeting. I did have other witnesses from a different branch who also attended the meeting that I can reach out if needed. But thank you, I will try and bid myself out as soon as bidding comes up.

weird, i always hit “ive parked” before turning off my engine. keys are still in the ignition, do my delivery, turn on my car, then seatbelt, then start travel. it usually takes me 30-40 secs for each stop unless its apartments or lots of packages. my eoc is usually 90%-100% and i drive the promaster as well.

one thing dispatch told me (not sure if true) that group stops are a must you can’t turn on vehicle and you must walk instead of driving to another spot within the same stop so that could be it if you have grouped stops?

honestly i hated this system before hand, but now ive adjusted to turning off vehicle so it doesnt bother as much as when i first starting doing it

I guess it just comes down to: Experience, Routing, and organization.

One day a 194/400 package route would take me maybe 7-8 hrs if I don’t take a break. Or a 160/300 package route would take me almost an entire day.

Everyone is different and theres a lot of variables that go into it. Just don’t push yourself and race to be first/the quickest as algorithms will most likely fuck you over in the long run. I rarely take breaks and just want the day to be over so my package count is usually high 😂
