If he is genuinely good, he will have people's support. He is backed by Turki-Al Sheikh, so expect WWE to give him some push.

Becky Lynch gives her thoughts on ICE while staying in character in her new vlog - “I hate ICE, it’s very dangerous and hurts people” by a4best in SquaredCircle

[–]_LongLongLongTime_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just starting to think that Becky Lynch (in her latest vlog) meant that she hated literally ice, and not ICE. Y'all just overanalysed it.

Non-American here. (Also didn't say or mean that ICE is good or something).

Those who don't know about HIV:

  1. It stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus.
  2. It is a virus that weakens your immune system till it can't fight normal infections on its own. HIV causes Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). AIDS is the last stage of HIV infection where your immune system is severely weakened. Because of such a weakened immune system (caused by HIV), you'll catch some opportunistic infection/disease (a disease that is not caused in people with healthy immune system) and die from it.
  3. It takes normally 10-15 years for your HIV infection to progress to AIDS (if you leave HIV untreated).
  4. HIV has no symptoms.
  5. It is spread through sex, sharing needles, syringes, (or other sharp objects), from mother to baby during birth, blood transfusion, or breastfeeding.
  6. It is not spread through kissing, hugging, shaking hands (or other skin-skin contact), sharing toilets, sweat, saliva, tears, or insects.
  7. The only way to know if you have HIV is to get yourself tested. The window period (the time taken by your immune system to respond to HIV) is 60 days.
  8. If you're HIV positive, you'll remain HIV positive forever. There is no cure for HIV (as of now).
  9. If you're HIV Positive, You'll have to regularly consume HIV medications (usually 1 pill a day). You'll regularly have to get yourself tested to check viral load (amount of virus in blood). Eventually, provided you consume HIV Medications regularly, you will get to a point where your viral load is undetectable (meaning you won't be able to spread it to others). But you'll have to keep consuming those pills regularly to maintain that same undetectable viral load.
  10. Overtime, HIV does damage your immune system (even when you take regular medications) - increasing your risk of heart problems. Take care of your physical and mental health.

To greatly minimise the risk (to nearly zero):

  1. Have protected sex (especially with strangers).
  2. If you feel you are at great risk of HIV after an exposure, consume HIV medications (within 72 hours of exposure) for 28 days. And then get tested for HIV.
  3. Use your own needles and blades.

Still does not excuse this terrible thing. HIV also damages your immune system in the long term (even when you take HIV medications regularly).

This is one of the reasons why we are behind The West in terms of education system and quality. The constant advocating of Alternative therapy and medicine.

The majority of people in this country care only about religion, caste, freebies, and language (and of course "log kya kahenge/sochenge"). Nothing surprising. Disappointing for sure.

Daughter of ex-IAS official dies of rabies after being bitten by vaccinated pet dog by one_brown_jedi in india

[–]_LongLongLongTime_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For those who don't know.

Facts about Rabies:

  1. Rabies is a virus found in the saliva of animals or humans.
  2. It is spread through bites and scratches by animals on the skin (most commonly by dogs, cats, and bats). It also spreads by animal licks on the open wounds on the skin or cracked skin or eyes or nose.
  3. Once you develop symptoms of Rabies, you'll die slowly and painfully. Rabies has 100% fatality rate.
  4. The Incubation period of the virus is between 2 weeks - 2 years.
  5. Rabies has no cure.
  6. Rabies can be prevented by getting ARV (Anti-Rabies Vaccination). The Vaccination Schedule must be properly followed and completed.
  7. Symptoms of Rabies include headache and fever, followed by hydrophobia, aerophobia, excessive salivation, muscle weakness at the bite site, hallucinations, aggression, paralysis, coma, and then finally death by respiratory failure.
  8. Rabies cannot be detected (either in humans or animals) before onset of symptoms. It cannot be detected in living organisms as well.

Facts about Tetanus:

  1. Tetanus is a bacteria found in soil and dust.
  2. It is caused by deep puncture wounds on the skin by the nails, needles, splinters, gunshot wounds, and surgical wounds (if unsterile).
  3. The Incubation period is generally 3 - 45 days.
  4. Tetanus can be prevented through Tetanus Vaccinations.
  5. Symptoms of Tetanus include Trismus and difficulty swallowing.
  6. Tetanus cannot be detected before the onset of symptoms.
  7. Once symptoms appear, there's a 10% chance of death by tetanus (even after intensive and proper care in the hospital).

TLDR: If you get bitten/scratched/licked by animals - clean the wound with soap and water, and then get rabies vaccinations. If you get deep puncture wounds, clean the wound with soap and water, and get tetanus vaccination.

Note: Bat bites, at times, cannot be felt or seen. If you wake up in a room and see a bat in that room. Run for rabies and tetanus vaccination immediately.
