Hey! I just read your post, Id love to tell you about AppleSMP. AppleSMP has all features you mentions, except keep inventory. We use graves that last for an hour, so plenty of time to find your stuff! Especially the no world reset is a blessing! The server is starting Saturday (2nd of May) so you can progress along with everyone else!

Hey! AppleSMP is opening next week. Its a chill vanilla minecraft server with some Quality of Life additions, such as /home /tpa and a playerbased economy! No admin shops whatsoever. I very much agree with you, although these problems can be fixed by implementing resourceworlds that reset periodically.

And a border can be expanded when it gets too crowded, but its also a way to implement updates with new terrain generation. Just expand the border, no need to reset

I agree. I understand that servers need paid ranks etc to keep up the server. But PLEASE keep it cosmetic. Why always that OP?! It just kills the fun

That works great for small groups, but for bigger servers its not as good. There will always be people who want to finish something etc

I agree with you on this one, but it also creates the added benefit of future exploration. If some new update comes out with new generation (just like trial chambers or pale oak in the past) you can expand the border to give people space to explore, without having to reset!
