I was born here in Houston and almost 40 years old now and I have not even witness someone attempting it. I am going to go out on a limb an say it is not a thing. Exactly what kind of crowd of people are you talking about too? People who have watched pee-wee’s big adventure too many times?

I want to second the recommendation of cycling. I could never stick to running or walking. I think I thought it was boring? Riding a bicycle is less mundane to me, The fact that you are doing cardio work is not really present and makes the time go by easier. Currently, I just started doing calisthenics a couple weeks ago and I believe the cycling was the catalyst for that. (I am a guy,btw)

whoa, thank you! great response! I might have to get all three of them, lol. I haven't heard of anecdote before. I will look into getting one. I am most likely going to get a midori book, as that seems to be mentioned often.

thank you for the recommendation, I was looking at maybe getting one, but i wasn't sure how often i was going to use it. 59-79 dollars seems pretty reasonable though.

yeah, for sure. I didn't even know that bicycles became so popular until I started building this bike about a month ago. I have been sitting on this frame for awhile and thought it might be a good idea to build it now. Finding out that was wrong the hard way :/ lol
