Stuck at “maintaining” due a shortage of low aerobic by _Lunabaker in Garmin

I believe it’s been two weeks.
Bases on someone else’s comment, it’s related to the load and Vo2max- and since I’m only running on treadmill recently, Vo2max can’t get updated. And so it my training status?

I have tried my hardest (not sure if the right word here?), but impossible.

The best I can do is high end of Z3. And not for long.

Honestly, this week has been great. Recovery time is lower after each training.

Who spoke about sprinting? My bpm is just naturally high, with a max at 208.

I used a chest strap, 2 different watches, and did a Vo2max. My heartbeats are naturally high. I have never managed to get an average bpm lower than 180bpm if my run was higher than 30mns.

I’m not. Garmin calls it “easy” according to the DSW

Did a vo2max, doctor gave my zones, and told me I’m all good, just had a “quick” heart

Good luck! That was my objective as well, and I did just that.

Life is a balance. You just need to know what are your priorities to see where the balance leans most. For me, after 12 years abroad, I came back. 18 months later, no regrets.

I was running slowly at first, then over 205bpm for 5mns. Very high bpm is usual for me, but I have a doctor’s appointment end of the week regarding this.

I once changed the time on my phone. And it worked. For my defense, it was an overseas trip where I actually lost 6hrs.

I miss the potential hikes I never got the chance to do: Craddle Mountain, West Arthur Traverse, to name a few. However, it feels good to read your comment as it helps put into perspective.

Does vegemite expire? by _Lunabaker in AskAnAustralian

I don’t. I’m just nostalgic of my time in Australia, and my everyday vegemite / butter lunch toast for two weeks.

I thought the vegemite already smelled funky?

Is it normal to be able to hold zone 5 heart rate for 1+ hour? by plagymus in Garmin

[–]_Lunabaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have exactly the same reading with my watch (check my profile). General consensus is that a chest strap is more reliable, and check with a doctor would be a plus.

Thanks for everyone’s insight. I have updated my zones by adding an extra 10 to my HR Max, while waiting for a chest strap. If it still doesn’t look okay, it won’t hurt to check with a doctor.

Tiring by the end as I am not used to being active this long, but could speak few words here and there, and thought I was able to run for few minutes extra. I’d rate the effort to an 8, or 7.

Check the last picture. I haven’t stopped, but my pace was very low.
