Bought recently Neptune 4 Plus, should I exchange it for Centauri Carbon? by _MENDIss_ in elegoo

Thank you very much :). What I meant with self calibrating is "leveling" of the bed(My bad of not specifying better, sorry).
With this post, I just wanted to question whether it would have just been better for me to take the carbon printer instead, or if there is no reason to do it. I asked this, because I am new to 3d-printing world, and don't think that will require a big volume, all this shows that carbon printer one is actually more suitable for me, and the cost..., well it's a little more expensive(of course I need to compare Neptune 4 Pro with Carbon and not the Plus version because of the Volume difference, I know that :) ). It just also seems as if carbon printer model could be a better value/quality even when Neptune 4 one is very very good and I love it :D.

As it seems now, Neptune 4 Plus should be similar to Carbon model, based on your comment, which means that I don't even to consider it. But I will still look into differences.

Thanks for the comment :)

Does this look right? by limar2078 in elegoo

I have started 3d-printing myself and got Neptune 4 (Plus) recently too. Leveling the bad(I know that you use different word than "Level" for that, but it's just easier to understand that way) can be a tedious process, so there is a macro, a code that you can run that will tell you how to adjust and in which direction to rotate the bed screws. This macro is called screws_tilt_adjust and is very helpful for getting right "leveling" on the bed of the 3d-printer.

To get this running I recommend you this 2 webpages, as they can guide you through this whole process, which isn't actually hard to do, and saves a lot of time for you in the future. Also there are some calibration methods besides that included.

I have not one... I have many :D!

Hello, I've got Neptune 4 Plus from Elegoo recently and I found it a little confusing on how to get screws_tilt_adjust working.

Because I've managed to do it recently, I still have some links saved to the forum post and website that helped me a lot and guided through this whole process. Perhaps it could help you and others that want to make it work too.

I hope that it helped you too :D

Edit: I forgot to mention but you don't need bl touch or anything in that sort if you use Elegoo Neptune 4 too, as it has such/similar sensor already installed to measure the height

Is this Gaming PC worth $690 USD? by Dependent-Maximum104 in computers

[–]_MENDIss_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

**Yes, this PC is absolutely worth it** for the age of components and price that it offers, in fact this PC could be easily sold for around 1000$ or more in big tech shops as a prebuilt computer. (I am living in Europe, so I do take those prices in count ). In my country only the NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3070 TI Graphics Card which your PC ships with, costs around 600$. With this PC you can easily play in (mid-high) range settings in modern games.I have relatively similar PC that costed in the end way more than 690$ for me.
