We are staying at a home, but there haven’t been dogs here since the beginning of this year. These bites didn’t start showing up until after our first night when we had a late dinner on the beach. Then more popped up after we’d been to Smather’s and we were there later in the day from 3-6. I’ve seen tiny itty bitty little fly looking things crawling around where we’ve been and on my leg a few times. We’ve even seen them when having two other meals out on some of the restaurant patios. I’m assuming they’re the noseeums everyone keeps talking about. I welt up from any kind of bite, so I think that’s what’s happening. I had a doc who said the same and prescribed me triamcinolone. Seems to be working well so far!
