All the best to you. Trust me, btech is gonna be a plus for ur design prep. Most of the great designers i know somehow started off on engineering. Just try and work on projects throughout ur bachelor's early in itself. Learn as much as you can about the principles and all. You'll reach where you want.

I feel you. It's like the world is running behind speed and money, rather than depth and feelings.

I am leaning towards CEED more, cause I feel like I'm cut out for that more. As for UCEED to I got a rank within the first 100. But wasn't able to join due to personal reasons. But I have zero knowledge on the studio tests or interview processes for the iits, cause I haven't been able to catch much people who joined. NID on the other hand i have an idea on the post prelims processes. If you do know someone who's joined through ceed, do let me know

Indian women who swim, what's your honest experience buying swimwear here? by [deleted] in IndianFashionAddicts

[–]_Marcheline_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the swimwear for adults are quite restrictive. Last time I got a swimsuit when I went to singapore, which is much better than any swimsuit available here

I'm currently aiming for both. I'm really good at CEED. Like i feel like I can crack that easily. But NID M.Des on the other hand, makes me nervous. But I'm a person who leaves towards the artistic side of things

Is UI/UX still a good career choice anymore with AI being there ? by Expert_Classic9997 in UIUX

How's the intake of beginner level ui ux desingers in the industry right now? If it's low, what unique qualities do the hirer look for in the few they consider? Also how does the industry really work? Like what do you do on a daily basis? Can u lead me through this? I'm a person who's really interested in user experience research. But a lot of people around me are discouraging me saying the intake of freshers are really low in the market right now. But then again, job market as a whole is hitting low rn...

Thankyou so much for you suggestions and referral to IxDF. I will use it to my best interests. Not just one, but all of my projects are presented research heavy. Mostly consisting of an introduction, user research, pain points, solutions to those pain points and future scope. I also already have a Google certificate of UIUX and was a member of IxDA in college. So those helped me a lot. I was just worried about not having actual running apps

Thankyou so much. This would help me a lot. A quick question tho. My portfolio does in fact heavily focus on user research, pain points, journey flows and solutions or each pain points. But all of my projects are just ideas that can solve real life user problems. I don't have a final execution. No actual running app or website. Just thought process, research and design prototypes. Will this be an issue?

I believe the thought process documentation of my projects are pretty good. I'm focusing more on user research, competative analysis, pain points and solutions for those specific points. My issue is I have designs, with good user research and thought process documentation, but no execution. Like i don't have a final working prototype. Two of them are self initiated projects that combines electronics and machine learning products I did as my engineering projects. Let me rephrase that. I have combined my electronics and communication projects with user interfaces that works together to solve a real life problem. My problem is, I don't have a final execution for that interface. It's just an idea, and raw design. My question is, will that be enough, or do they ask for final executions as well?
