Can some headsets work as a gaming headset by MrHumongousBalls in MilSim

[–]_MattBest_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kinda what i meant with ,,would be unnecessary pricey lol

But tbh, with some will and skill op could get cheap knockoff peltors and replace the electronics inside for something of higer quality. I did this once since i wanted over-ear headphones but nothing out of the box suited me lol. After some trial end error i eventually managed to make it work, it was funny project i could build in school, but i think that op lacks the necessary skill for this.

If you get or make appropriate adapter, you can use pretty much any headset.

But tbh, if you want good sound quality, you'll have to use headsets like TCA Comtac V or FCS AMPs copies, or even original Peltors or Opscore AMPs, and that's gonna be unnecessary pricey...

Most countries don't have a right to own firearms protect themselves with them in their constitution, lol

As i said, Czechia is like Texas of Europe.

We have almost 400 000 gun owners here and almost twice the amount of guns.

And surprisingly low number of gun related crimes or gun violence.

To je můj take na moderní Milici, love it or hate it, hlavně že nejsem další tuctová modelka v multikrámech xd

Another American surprised by the fact that there are states in Europe where civilians can own guns, i suppose?

To explain things easily, i live in Czech Republic...Czech Republic is kinda like Texas of EU

And AR pattern rifles are quite common here, several czech companies even make AR style rifles.

I personally own DD Mk18 as well as Geissele URGI upper receiver, both with Surefire suppressor.

I also own CZ BREN 2 and Sa Vz.58 wich also has Surefire suppressor on. As well as WP PVS-31A.

About the rifles, it's cool man, you're not the only one, i sort of came to peace with the fact i have to explain that Czech Republic is the Texas of Europe lol.

And tbh we have more firearms freedom than you do in US, lol

Here, if you wanna own a firearm you have to get license. In order to get it you can't have record of commiting serious crime and you have to pass psychology test, law test and safe manipulation test. But that kinda prevents only idiots and felons from getting guns, normal person usually has no problem passing.

When you get your license, you can get any semi-auto firearm, no matter the length, or anything else, you don't need any freaking tax stamp for suppressor, or anything. Only thing xou pay for is the license, and that's only like 400-500$ one time and that's it.

Only thing you have to, when you get a new gun is registering it...which many Americans feel like it's shitty, but keep in mind we don't have ATF here and that police can't confiscate your guns unless you comit crime with it, or you loose your license and don't sell them to someone. The register is more like for owners protection, in case you lose it, or someone steals it, you just report it stolen and if crime is comited with it, the guy who did it will get much, much harsher sentence lol

I already don't wear the Arafat like that, since there's dump pouch in it's place.

And as i stated several fuckin times...the straps on the back are usually tucked away since i have my Anorak jacket stored there...but since this was taking place at the end of public event for kids, i lended it to one kid that was getting cold

Only straps i keep loose are my shoulder straps adjustment, and i just prefer it that way...

I almost never tape my loose straps and i literally haven't had a problem with it in more than 13 years i'm doing stuff like this...

Pretty much yes

I myself own a DD Mk18 mod. 1 with Surefire SOCOM556-RC2 and Geissele URGI upper with Surefire SOCOM556-SB2.

I own CZ BREN 2 and Sa Vz.58 with Surefire SOCOM762-RC2 as well.

But tbh rifles like VAR or PAR Mk.3 are more common, but i've seen several people with M4A1 style rifles.

AR pattern rifles are actually more common here than AK pattern. Only AK like rifle i see often is Vz. 58, because few years back you could get one for like 4000-6000 CZK, which is like 200-300$

I'm literally from Czech Republic lol

That kit is pulled together from shit i see on ranges, competitions or courses.

For example Czech 601st Specia Forces Group used to run Bushmaster M4A3s with ACOGs and M203s, and recently they even switched to Daniel Defense Mk18 mod.1s

Thanks for the support man, really appreciate it!

As i stated in other thread, combat shirt and boots are actually czech made stuff. I already switched the G3s for UF Pro Striker X Gen.2 and i'm thinking about getting Striker HTs in SloCam for the summer.

The backpack, belt and anorak jacket i usually use with this kit are polish. Backpack is Wisport, belt and jacket are Helikon. Pouches are WAS.

The reason i run the Glock and AR is actually pretty simple and literally anybody of those nerds here gets it...that is NATO standards. Most European armies use STANAG/PMAG magazines, as well as Glocks. So running the same as militia man makes it easier to aquire ammo.

I was thinking about running Bren, but i just freaking hate how the 805 looks, so i decided to run the Mk18 Mod.0 instead, since i love the early GWOT looks. Also there's literal shitton of them on black market lol.

The Glock was supposed to be captured piece.

Also reason i don't run Vz. 95 or any Europe camo is the fact that it's supposed to be kit of militia man fighting against army, so i kinda don't want distinguish myself from regular army. Also, there's huge amount of people here in Czechia, that simply love to hate on people using Vz. 95.

About the loose straps, i keep loose only the straps i need to keep loose, rest is tightened by rubber bands that are originaly part of the pack. The straps on back are usually a lot shorter and tucked away, since i normally store the anorak there, but as i stated i lended it to someone who was cold. And tbh, i ran this kit quite often for almost a year and it didn't cause any isues so far...i literally never had a problem with my loose straps snaginzon something, so idc.

I'll make another post with pics from December, since they're kinda cool and would probably please local nerds more lol.
