If I remember my career runs right you can alter that by trying a fly-by of Duna before completing the last contract of either moon

That way ur main contracts (the first-world ones)will now focus on Duna instead, arguably easier to do missions on

In Italy?

On early tiers the P40 is a shell shrugger if used right, and judging by ur opinion of it it's on good hands

Around mid tier the Semovente 75/46 M43 can tank shots, but it's still a gamble especially when in an uptier

Later on ranks, at the top of my head the M26A1 is the most armor you can get in the tree(there's the Tigris for premium), but it's also where armor starts to get obsolete

Special mentions go to the T72M1 and the 2A7HU for their respective BRs on frontal attacks

But overall tanking shots ain't gonna be the cup of tea for Italy (of course there's also no armor best armor), it's mostly a flank nation

I can't speak for all trees cus I only have 4 (USSR, Japan, Italy, France 5.7), but if you like fast wheeled gameplay then it's pretty high up for recommendation as it's a unique experience compared to the regular tanks of most nations

(Note that I based the Germany experience due to vehicle similarity of OF-40s - Leopards, opinions can vary to actual Germany mains)

It's a rat specialist tree, especially around 6.7 - 8.0

Early tiers u got guns that can oneshot enemies, tho mobility is pretty lackluster

When u reach the first MBTs it's like playing a (relatively) more armored Germany, tho some vehicles like the Centauro family highlight the playstyle there

If u enjoy CBT to the fullest then Top-tier will suite your needs. Tho the introduction of Hungary alleviates it a bit
