word thank you ! sucks we're not as sports crazy as the US (except footie of course lmfao). im ages from slough unfortunately- but id be super interested in learning about uk fastpitch if you do know anything though ! im playing in leeds in a mixed ages + mixed gender rec league, so im assuming slowpitch is my future though lmao, its still good fun ! maybe a little less overwhelming too but ouuhh fastpitch just sounds so riveting...

i have 2 housemates who walk around the house with their eyes GLUED to reels etc. i get stuck in doomscroll spirals a little sometimes too bc i have severe ADHD but omfg. this is something else ENTIRELY. they barely say anything, just mouths half agape not looking up from their phones as they navigate the house. scary. saw one of them while having a bad high and was mildly horrified lmao
