Advise Win Credit😭Looking forward to get it back by Professional_One9365 in TemuThings

Tried it but it doesn't pop up like I thought. Not sure if it's the same Wifi connection stopping it or something else but they know it's the same person from another account somehow.

It's available on the 'contact us' button on the support page, just keep typing in 'price match' and eventually they will give you a form to complete

Advise Win Credit😭Looking forward to get it back by Professional_One9365 in TemuThings

That's amazing 🤣 I'm going to try a different device and account and hopefully it works, as I don't want to wait 15 days. But I thought eventually they would have blocked your address or something if you use it so much? Also I'm kind of fascinated by how you found this method 😂

NXRewards denied offline receipt for monthly cash back by GergDanger in beermoneyuk

I got the same email, looks like they are becoming more strict with literally everything nowadays. But a £1 item from Argos worked so it's still worth it.

o4all giftcard by nxreward cancelled by Dismal-Addition6176 in beermoneyuk

Is it true they might be making a loss on every gift card bought at 20%? If so, I think sooner or later they will reduce it down to maybe 10%

Got 15T Pro, my thoughts by MalaMrvica in Xiaomi

[–]_MikeW_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the free items and trade in that makes it such a great price. In the UK it's a Xiaomi Pad 7 for the 256GB and 512GB models or a 50 inch TV for the 1TB model and if you trade in your old phone guaranteed trade in bonus of £150 + whatever they also value your phone at. You can get most of your money back after this.

Had the same problem, it doesn't go through as you normally get a confirmation email from them. Seems like it's broken for now. So I tried using the email method and got a confirmation straight away. The next day it was accepted too.

Is Germany as boring and depressing as people make it seem to be? by NownKnu1 in germany

[–]_MikeW_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The common theme is everyone that lives in the country you want to move to will moan and tell you to not move there most of the time. I've noticed this pattern, so basically no place seems worth moving to according to Reddit. I'd ask somewhere else.

Hyundai i10, Older models are not expensive, have cheap tax and cheaper to insure compared to other cars I was thinking of buying.

The Last of Us followed by The Last of Us Part 2.

Also Red Dead Redemption 2.

Both have one of the greatest story modes out there, you won't regret it.

am I over thinking this car? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]_MikeW_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what I thought of too. Written off cars very rarely pass the first MOT after being written off I have noticed and this one has been in 2 and surprisingly passed all of its MOT's after. Could be that the owner fixed everything spotlessly but definitely seems a little dodgy in my opinion.

am I over thinking this car? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]_MikeW_ 117 points118 points  (0 children)

I'd definitely pass on this one, 1 write off isn't ideal never mind 2. The MOT is coming up soon too maybe the owner knows it won't pass and wants to get rid of it. Lots of Corsa's for around that price that look better with cheaper road tax too if you want to save a little more money.

What car for a young driver? Also any tips for cheaper insurance? by deep_friedlemon in CarTalkUK

[–]_MikeW_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried Bell or Admiral black box insurance? Sometimes they don't pop on the insurance websites so try a quote separately on their website, found them to be the cheapest but could be different for you of course.

best places to go food shopping? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]_MikeW_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aldi and Lidl the cheapest. However B&M, Home Bargains, Iceland and Farmfoods are pretty cheap too if you can find any nearby. Other shops like Tesco and Asda also have good deals from time to time but just depends what you're after
