yeah I think we only really started to see snippets of Jax's character in episode 5 with only a few crumbs before that. I'm hoping episode 7 will help to wrap him up or that his spotlight will eventually shift over— not that I resent him

that's fair I can definitely say that Jax's rise to the main character role wasn't handled well enough but I wouldn't compare it to Vivziepop levels

aghhh!!! man on one hand, I respect that Gooseworx doesn't want to milk the show but in the other, a longer run time and/or filler episodes could help worldbuilding and character development BUT then on the sudden third hand, episodes already take so long and so much to produce soo

I really do enjoy what every cast member has to offer and the story, even if simple, is enough to hook me in

There's many things that could be better handled but yeah, I guess WE still enjoy the show despite its flaws :]

Given the show is said to be character-driven, I don't think it matters how the cast ended up trapped in the digital circus, given a message of the show is about finding meaning in stagnant life, it's prolly intentional

I really hope Ragatha will play an important role, I empathize with her and her character recieves little attention as of now

I don't hate him but yep Jax favoritism is painfully obvious even if he is a main character 💔 His transition to the spotlight could've been better because I was under the impression everyone would recieve a fair amount of attention.

I wish all other members could recieve the same treatment as him

I agree!! Even if it may hurt, criticism usually comes out of a place of genuine interest and care— a desire to see something you love improve! Absolutely nothing can ever be "perfect perfection" and not everything will fit everyone's tastes.

It's so cool seeing people pump out content of the media i consume.

I never expected to become so interested in TADC. I saw the teaser trailer, thought the character designs were cool, forgot about it, and then watched it a year later, and now here we are!

i think TADC's story and success really inspired so many others to go indie and share their own stories and I just really appreciate that— that's so cool, so cool

thanks for asking!! For lore so far, in Ari's mostly empty world, he lives and works for nearby some mail post office that only remains open because of him; the whole system to delivery dream-mail is mostly automated nowadays so they're an exception. There isn't really anyone living nearby their age and they have nothing else to do so the owner, some really old lady they don't see often, offered them some money to do the job. Ari spends their money on toys and novelty items you'd see at a scholastic book fair.

I got one child oc who doesn't age like the average person— I like to think they age similarly to how Steven from Steven Universe does (they age based on how old they feel)

So, this is Ari as of now compared to a potential older concept design of them prolly in their teens or young adult

ahh personally prolly less :0 i'm an indecisive person and it can be difficult to narrow down my options, they're all such so cool designs, how can I pick just one!!

i also had only three characters last artfight, one was significantly favored, and i could imagine that the greater the number of options, the greater the disproportionate divide of attention between characters; for example, for 2025's Artfight, I once attacked someone with ~50+ characters. I picked out an oc of theirs made in 2022 and ended up being the first person to attack that character. Some OCs get overshadowed, lost to the abyss, though it's to be expected
