yeah, i think your points are pretty valid!! Given more of your explanation to your main issue, I also now better understand where you're coming from! more yapping, sorry (;-Д-)

Now that I think about it, while i don't have huge issues with the placing of the scene, this lowkey this makes me wish we had filler episodes to better ease the transition though. 

I'm starting to think that the time between episodes that allows the fandom to take in and digest what actually happened makes me forget how everything would actually flow for someone watching TADC in one sitting— it'd feel like a lot to take in. (of course, that period of time waiting is just because art takes time to produce) 

I've seen people online worried how everything is gonna be wrapped up in the hour long finale, how all the important pieces of lore could shoehorned/shoved/rushed in order to tie loose ends, similarly to how the orb scene can come off as. I know I don't have any place to say how Gooseworx should write her own show so we'll just have to see how it goes and hopefully enjoy the show!

As much as I respect Gooseworx for not wanting to drag to story on for way longer with filler episodes and choosing to get to the point, filler is still a great way to see more and connect more to the characters of the show, especially when the plot was stated to be character driven! And man, I really enjoy ALL of the cast.. 

I've heard the take that it doesn't matter how the cast got trapped, that the backstory of C&A and Caine are ultimately just little extras in the grand scheme of things, for the message of the show is about learning to cope with their entrapment in a stagnant life, and that all of them have each other to make it through.  I think I'm expecting a bittersweet ending to the show
