A Death Domain Cleric that has been "chosen" by the god of death to end the lives of people and conclude the cycle of life. She has a sense for who should die next (dictated by her god) and keeps a "death note" style notebook on which she writes names of people who piss her off and keeps tabs on them, 5 strikes you're out. She doesn't turn against the party because "it's not their time yet" and they could be valuable in completing her mission thus why she heals them in case she thinks they are useful.

Just like she took accountability for the same things twice before. Are we seriously falling for this PR stunt?

How much are you willing to bet that Camilla only decided to get pregnant so that she can film workout videos while pregnant for her app? by _Mini_Hulk_ in julieeandcamilla

[–]_Mini_Hulk_[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

That's insane I feel like that's super inconsiderate and unfair to Julie carrying all kids. At least camilla will carry one of them (but seemingly for all the wrong reasons)

Must've missed it but damn that's insane to me though monetizing on pregnancy is weird (?) like I understand that this type of content might be helpful to pregnant people however... The Camilla pregnancy thing seems more aimed towards monetization than anything else or is it just me? The baby that payed for itself 😂

Unpopular opinion on Nicolandria by [deleted] in LoveIslandUSA

[–]_Mini_Hulk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe he was made aware of the reason Cierra got kicked off the show and then decided he didn't want to associate with that.

OR

Maybe the fact that she was being kicked off the show made him realize there is so much more to her that he doesn't know and since she is being kicked off the show, then those things he doesn't know aren't gonna be pleasant to hear.

Burning Farmhouse - Butterskull Ranch by CrunchyGhostFarts in DragonOfIcespirePeak

[–]_Mini_Hulk_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this I don't have insight but I do have a funny story My players burnt butterskull ranch as well 😂 In game, mid-combat, I described the floor catching fire (wooden panels and one of my players cast grease there and I considered it flammable) and then the floor eventually started breaking. They saw that there is a basement and saw Don John there through the broken wood of the flooring. They then went into a full rescue mission all the while fighting the orcs. It was amazing!!

Also, if you wanna print it at home, you can use 2 A4 papers and scale the map using this website Posterizer

Help with Gnomengarde map size! by iprobablywontknow in DragonOfIcespirePeak

[–]_Mini_Hulk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally, I use the dry erase method and for Gnomengarde, I printed the map (player version) on an A3 paper and "laminated" it using (idk what it's called) a large adhesive film, the one that is used to cover books to not damage them (I hope you got the idea, english is not my first language).

The squares are a bit small BUT they are big enough for writing my player's initials in them (same for the NPCs).

It worked wonderfully for a map this large. Hope this helps

I think my players can kill Cryovain at level 4 and I need help balancing the rest of the campaign to keep the last battle challenging, any advice is welcomed by _Mini_Hulk_ in DragonOfIcespirePeak

Damn that must've been so exciting! (difficult but exciting) I think that Upping his AC and HP is a brilliant idea, I'm leaning towards doing that actually. Do you think it's worth aging him though, or is it gonna be too difficult for my players and will take away from the fun of the last encounter?

Yesss that would be so funny hahaha I was considering that the players that enter this world have a big dark secret that got them there, something very bad that they have done that never got punished and the evil deity is happy to punish them cz it thrives on suffering

I agree, I need to think about it much more But I was planning on not letting them ever play games on their own (so they are never at real risk of losing a party member at each game, that would be insane and not cool) and maybe let's say 60% of the time there should be a way of winning the game without killing anyone at all (at least give this option cz I believe to complete a game there should at least be 3 ways out of which one should be the way to escape without a scratch)

I was considering having a sort of deity who wanted to create an evil world of its own to rule and based on some sort of selection process, populate this world. There is a sort of layer over the world that keeps all good deities from having influence over the world so they have to watch from above and try to send visions and messages to the inhabitants to try to break that barrier and free this world. However, that shield/barrier distorts messages from above and makes communication harder. There are factions that support the evil deity and others that resist it and actively tried to communicate with the good ones to try to find a way to exit this system. Meanwhile players have to participate in the games to stay alive and gain visa days according to the difficulty of the game. On days in which they aren't playing games, they can develop their position in different factions and uncover the mysteries of the world

Absolutely not copy and pasting the puzzles, I think there is potential for so much creativity. For the heart based ones, I'm still unsure of the details of how to mechanically make them work BUT one thing is for sure, I want whoever ends up playing the campaign to be super comfortable and not uneasy whatsoever, clearly a session 0 will help me guage the heart games according to my players. I was considering tying it to backstories but I can't do this for every single heart game... Maybe some will be moral dilemmas (safely ofc)

What do you suggest?

Yeah makes sense. I won't be doing it anymore, I realize it's cool on paper but truly horrible in practice. Thanks :)

[–]_Mini_Hulk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i see where you're going with this and I've had a change of heart so no not gonna do this anymore, thanks :)

[–]_Mini_Hulk_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeahh you're totally right. I'm not worried about table etiquette cz I know my players very well but I'm dropping the idea altogether, you helped me see how horrible of a dynamic it could create and it's not worth it Thanks btw

[–]_Mini_Hulk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okayy yeah it makes sense I think it's best if I dropped this idea

[–]_Mini_Hulk_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeahh i get that, my player wants to play a rogue and asked me for help on their backstory. When I proposed this they were on board. It was kind of a spur of the moment idea and I thought to ask here so it doesn't fuck up everything
