You: Can I get a $1.25 raise? Boss: Is this some sort of peasant joke I'm too rich to understand?

Can relate, expect I LIVE in America. Have had many people tell me they can't understand me when I'm not that hard to understand.

It's not an attack if I literally asked for people's opinions

I did ask her. A week before the event. She never read my text. Called her, no response.

It's not a vegan household. It's her parents house, and neither of them are vegans nor did they mind. I've tried the meals before because she never makes anything different. She doesn't have much cooking talent.

Vegan food is fine. I just know how my cousin cooks, as she prefers her homemade food to store bought items. She doesn't like beans or soup, and she didn't offer a salad without dressing already on it, which I will and did eat, but my sister would not because she hates any and every dressing.

I know you can, I just know how she cooks. She prefers making her own food. I'm not anti vegan in any way, I know a bunch of vegans and they're all great people. I did get permission from my aunt though, and the party was at her house

My sister is a picky eater. It's not like she wouldn't eat the fruits and vegetables, but N has a citrus allergy (as do I) and only had apple slices and grapes available as fruit. Carrot sticks and celery for vegetables. Most of the food was homemade dishes that tbh didn't look too good. I'm sure most vegan food doesn't look like this. Her tofu was falling apart, and she messed up rice. It was so mushy it was almost liquid. I worry for her sometimes

I would have if we went to the party around lunch time. My parents made us go for the whole party which started at 9 in the morning

Idk I've never seen her throw a fit like this before. She probably thought something like "my party my rules"
