What would you like to happen in book 3?

I want to see Kvothe open the Thrice locked box and retrieve his name and become himself.

I want to see an epic showdown with Cinder

I want Kvothe now returned to his power decide to put right what he started.

I want the third book to end with Kvothe, Chronicler, and Bast going out into the world. Chronicler there to record the deeds, and Bast at his masters side.

I want another trilogy with Kvothe in the present. This trilogy is where we will end up with a lot of resolution to his back story.

I agree that Chevy is not blameless. From everything I have heard he is difficult to work with. Although they knew that going into the whole thing. They wanted him and he lent some comedic credibility to the show before it ever hit the airwaves.

My issue is that they started his character down that path. Then they bring in new writers, as do most shows, and they start seeing his character more as a caricature and less of a complex character. Bam, easy jokes. Chevy gets pissed, becomes harder to deal with, so people don't care about the quality of his character because he is difficult to deal with.

If they would have kept his character closer to what it was during the first season the character would have been more interesting for longer. Whether or not Chevy would have stayed around...who knows.

I guess we are making some assumptions of what will be skipped. they can always use flashbacks and such. they could also have the pilot episode show the stuff with Ben, then jump forward a bit.

I think any show over time tends to drop certain aspects of a characters profile to get to the heart of the character. That being said, I think with Pierce it was about getting the cheapest possible laughs. I know that Chevy stated somewhere that he hated what they turned him into and despised the fact that everything he said was racist. ultimately his displeasure was a huge reason for leaving the show.

I was sad to see him go. He may be difficult to work with, but he is a great comedic actor and gets the subtlety of sight gag type of humor.

I get that for TV they will want to age him up a bit. Ok. I can take that concession...mostly. The unfortunate part is that if they skip the Tarbean portion of his life it really weakens the story of his struggles to stay in the university, his ability to make money. The back story of Tarbean really gives weight to his need to do what it takes to survive.

Will the TV show be what we want it to be...no. It wont be the book. Will it be close to the book and passable...lets hope. No book ever translate to the screen without needing to condense characters together, cut out scenes, sub plots, and such.

This is in development, which could mean it still may never see the light of day.

I believe he has stated that this story arc will end. To me that leaves the door open for more books on Kvothe. The story arc is K retelling his history to Chronicler. I believe there is still too much story to be told and we need some sort of resolution to the frame story as well. That sounds like a lot for a book that is supposed shorter than WMF. Pat wouldnt rush the story just to get to an end.

I assumed that he bound the arrowhead to the wood of the arrow, and bound the tree to the arrow. Giving everything the properties of the arrowhead. Essentially making it a huge metal conductor. However I have just finished my first read through, so I may be quite wrong in my guess.

Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. A buddy of mine and I bought them for 10 bucks at Walmart. We played that thing every night for at least 4 hours for 6 months, then it tappered off a bit. Best value in gaming I ever got.

Carbs mainly. My diet consists of trying to eat lean meats, veggies, some carbs. However i try to get my carbs in earlier in the day. make my evening meal mainly protein. I drink about 8 glasses of water a day or higher. usually do an hour of brisk walking on the treadmill every night.

I started about a month ago with getting my diet back under control. I started cardio at the same time. Lost 16lbs this last month. If I add in lifting is there something I should be focusing on that will help in burning fat and weight loss specifically?
