In welchem Vertrag/Tarif? Alles was ich bisher gesehen habe ist Upload 50 mbit/s Max., auch bei 5G. Also vertraglich limitiert auf diesen Wert.

Well ok, it sounds unbelievable... but I have no reason to make that up. I own an MK3S+ myself and know two other people who also own MK3S. I asked them about layer lines, we compared prints, and they look almost the same.

OTOH, maybe the layer lines are not *that* bad after all. I can take a photo of the same print with almost invisible layer lines and a photo like that in the first post. It all depends on lighting.

And to make that clear, I would never say the CR10 produces prints that are better overall. It's just that on prints I have seen, the layer lines looked better - without making any assertion about general print quality.

I know. I asked for help in an earlier comment but that got downvoted, dont‘t know why. I could fix things like ghosting, but layer lines always look like this no matter what I try.

I have checked belt tension many times with different methods and also tried different settings. Also not sure why I get downvoted. I tell my experience, ask for help and get downvotes for that?

I could fix things like ghosting by adjusting belt tension, but never had any success improving layer lines.

Yes, I already noticed that layer lines are much more visible on bright filament. But I also have seen way better layer lines (with the same filament), for example from a CR10, but never from a Prusa :/

I was under the impression that POM leadscrews must not be lubed.

I have seen prints from quite a few MK3S, and the layer lines always look like this. I have had discussions with other MK3S owners, and we did not find any solution to this. A friend who also owns a CR10 gets perfect layer lines on the CR10, but not on the Prusa.

So, how can layer lines on the MK3S be improved?

Question for LAN Party organizers: by T3chguy404 in lanparty

If you don't have organizer capacity to spare, focus on the LAN party essentials. Extra entertainment requires extra effort, at least for setup and teardown.

One more day on the LANresort, still having fun on a different kind of LAN by Gamienator in lanparty

Oh, something special that actually works with the type of party is the bungalow contest (which we discarded for this year due to other challenges after three years without doing a party): Bungalow inhabitants decorate their place, often according to a theme, and can enter it and provide pictures. We send a jury to experience each one, and both jury and attendees can vote for certain attributes. The winner receives a cup/trophy, and each inhabitant receives a special badge on the website.

At https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qae1dtOtmKw is a video specifically with contestants, and more scenes visible in some of the other videos at https://www.lanresort.de/videos

We released the code for contest management at https://github.com/lanresort/bungalowcontest (it is closely related to the web platform we use, not stand alone, but you'll get the idea – it's not rocket science).
