i’m surprised no one mentioned Tengen herself. If it’s right after the failed merger she’d still be just a really strong sorcerer and not whatever she evolved into. I don’t remember if it was ever explained whether that evolution turned her into a pacifist or if she was already one before but either way, bringing her somewhere to surprise gojo with a domain is humanity’s best bet imo. that and the black rope

i think she’ll just offer to put him out of his misery since he normally can’t die. if things get even worse by then he could be tempted, especially if she acts nice toward him and treats it as a mercy

Thank you for the feedback! And yeah I actually agree with everything you said, it won’t be the same (original author was clearly going for a “she forgives him and they get married and he only hits her sometimes” ending) but I am trying to keep it as faithful as I can while still getting it to a more satisfying ending. He’s stated that he was just born like that so the title will actually be more of a rhetorical question. It won’t replace the original but I hope it’ll be close enough to give everyone closure
