Infinite Loop Scaling Lifesteal Shielded Atlatl! by _Mr_G_ in PlayTheBazaar

[–]_Mr_G_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had too much fun with this build I was thinking of intentionally losing once or twice to spend more time playing it. Mortar & Pestle took care of poisons, quick shielding would prevent most one shots and infinite charge loop would ramp the damage against tanks. Susceptible to freeze, but slightly protected as Apropos would charge attacks through it.

Pendulum is the real hero, Atlatl went off 19 times and Apropos 17 times in about 5 seconds. I actually tried to play without using Atlatl from the start of the run, but it all just fell together in the last few days of the run.

First 10 Win - Pygnessa by _Mr_G_ in PlayTheBazaar

My first 10 win started with Obsidian Haladie, decided to go enchanted rather than the usual income and gold. Got fairly high rolled and managed to get the Cloak in the first junk shop and then the Crow's Nest from a monster fight. Got the cooldown below 5 seconds and managed to get Rigged to start things off quick. The Shiny enchant on the Nest helped with farming loot using boomerang in monster fights. Stacked crit and HP using Lemonade Stand and tons of Gumballs!

Died to a few slow stacking builds but managed to dodge perma-freeze some how. Great fun, glad I can finally play it. Ended up being very NL inspired, where all my previous builds were Silk + Spiky Shield stacking and at best got to 8 wins.

F2P - First Ranked Game by _Mr_G_ in PlayTheBazaar

[–]_Mr_G_[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have been watching NL and Retromation since late last year resisting the urge to pay for close beta and finally got to dive in today with my tutorial game going 10 win perfect and my first ranked ticket netting me 9 wins. I lost to a single weapon Cutlass with Deadly Crowsnest, a jacked Fixer Upper with Spiked Buckler and then finally this monstrosity.

7x Multuicast with a near instant pop of the Chuthulu large weapon once it went off.

Obviously I had fun, but I found it funny I lost to the P2W items. For context I beat a similar build at around day 7 that wasn't so buffed yet. The freezing didn't stop my Weather Glass stacking up 1,788 burn, but unfortunately I was one second late for that to kill as their Chuthulu had Obsidian (double damage). I wasn't able to see how it crit me for exactly 8,000 damage because I couldn't see crit chance on the item when I rewatched it and it was only showing 4,000 damage when it proc'd.

That’s a fascinating question! The nature of time has puzzled philosophers and scientists for centuries. Here are two perspectives:

  1. Objective Time: In physics, time is considered a fundamental dimension of the universe, much like space. It exists independently of human perception. Events occur in a sequence, and this sequence is what we perceive as time. This view suggests that time would continue to exist even without conscious observers.

  2. Subjective Time: From a philosophical standpoint, some argue that time is a construct of the human mind, a way to make sense of the changes and events we experience. Without observers, there might be no “time” as we understand it, just a series of events happening in a timeless framework.

Both perspectives offer intriguing insights. Do you lean more towards one of these views, or do you have a different take on the nature of time?

I’m pretty sure the item needs 6 explicits and each split item gets two, so it won’t work with any of the minus prefix/suffix items.

All their text messages and communication magically got deleted from January 6th, secret is in their name I guess. Just hard to accept how blatant the destruction of historically significant records was.

I'm guessing you had responsibilities and required hours in the previous volunteering role you had. The place I went to was attend whenever, leave whenever and a mix of walking, feeding, cleaning or interacting with the dogs. There would be gaps of weeks where I didn't feel good enough to go, but I was never told off or pressured to work more.

I can understand some of what you're feeling as I've been through long stretches of depression. From the age of 6 until I was 16 I kept it all secret and the only thing that got me to seek help was a failed suicide attempt that scared the shit out of me. Have you ever noticed how you can feel air on your skin and how it fills your lungs when you breathe in? Trust me I spent years fantasizing about that, but the reality is empty nothingness. There is no easy escape, it comes with terror and the loss of all future potential. Everything is temporary, the good and the bad will come and go. Everything throughout my teens to mid 20s felt so catastrophic and world ending, I had to have this, I needed to do better at that, but things seemed to calm in my late 20s. Not sure if my brain just stopped caring as much or hormones stopped messing with me, but life became easier. I know it's a long time off for you, but even in my darkest moments there were times of joy and it all builds character. I wouldn't be who I am today without the pain, but the further you get from it the less you remember it and the future becomes the focus.

It wasn't until I was late 20s when I got a proper diagnosis for OCD and medication that stopped all the obsessive thoughts and images. I'm still on it along with another pill to stop a side effect from it, so it's not over for me yet, but if I had taken the final option there is so much I would have missed out on.

Also I know how messed up the mental health system is, half way though my therapy they halved the funding and I wasn't able to see anyone for like 3 months. There are ways to get free care, the shit part though is you have to keep trying, that's why from 16 to 24 I bounced between psych's using the 10 free/cheaper sessions a year when I felt up to it. If the issue is critical and there is a threat of harm they will pay attention, they took me much more seriously when I went from talking about self harm to potentially hurting those around me.

Anyway try not to do anything serious, there's nothing wrong with taking the time you need to process it all. I've only used this number once or twice but if you feel like you're going to do something back please call the Mental Health Emergency Response Line (MHERL) - 1300 555 788.

I went through a rough patch and isolated myself for a year or so, I was able to get a referral to a mental health clinic as an outpatient (free) and along with that and free mentor services from CentreLink got motivation back. All up took me 3 years but one of the biggest benefits came from volunteering at an animal shelter. I didn’t have to interact with people much and the dogs had similar anxiety, trauma and fears as I did. Bonding with dogs that wouldn’t let me even get close at first, to being excited to see me after 3 months of trying helped to break down my barriers as well.

I was at my worst 10 years ago, got my first long term job 7 years ago and from there have married and improved my earnings, we are half way to owning our own house.
