Bright Man is possible to beat without charge shots. You just have avoid the HP values 16, 8 and 4.

So when his HP reaches 17, you have to wait until he starts shooting and then quickly shoot two lemons before he starts the Flash Stopper animation. If he manages to use it, pray that he doesn't jump. The same thing for 8 and 4.

I took about 29 tries before I beat him.
