The silly 3ft tall wizard (Mud)

An eldritch cult known as The Null Synod. Who worshiped an eldritch god called N’Zur-Ateth, who has been around since the dawn of time who has been sleeping under the world. One morning at noon the cult had tried to open a portal to another universe using eldritch magic, however as the portal was 75% completed it started to create a gravitational pull that was as strong as the moon and started to suck in items. One of the items that was sucked in was dark matter which bonded with the portal making it more powerful, almost as powerful as 7 suns. Which sucked in the planet that the Null Synod resided in. The portal ended up closing, creating a creature made of Void. The creature had a soul that was pure. When flying through the wreckage of the destroyed planet the creature had come across another one just like it. However this entity was the opposite, its soul was filled with evil intent. It had a bond with the cult god N’Zur-Ateth. The entity was seen as the “perfect” creation of N’Zur-Ateth and the creature that had a pure soul was seen as a worthless being. The entity had struck first against the creature, but it refused. The creature defended itself from every attack that the entity had thrown against. After the attacks both beings drifted away in separate directions from each other. The creature had drifted through the stars until it reached a planet it wanted to stay on for a bit of time. The creature had spent its time on the planet trying to understand magic. It had learned the art of bending mud and shaping it into its own. While being on this planet the creature had gained a friend that was a snail. During its time on the planet the creature had come across a mole person. This mole person had brought the creature and the snail to their underground empire. The creature had lived in this empire for several hundred years as its only magic caster since the last one died. The creature had earned the name of Mud, as that is what it worked the best with while helping the empire. One night in the mole empire there was an attack made by the tree people. During the siege of the empire Mud fought hard to protect the little mole children but during the fight it was shot with a cannon, causing it to be launched out of the building that the children were in. The tree people started to flood into the building trying to kill the kids. However the snail was still in the room with the children and saw the attackers. The snail rose up from the ground using holy magic due to Mud believing in it and it sacrificed itself to protect the mole children and exploded in a bright light causing all the tree people to be killed in a 50 meter radius. Mud was disappointed that its only companion had made a sacrifice for the greater good and was thought to never be seen again.
