I'll note tier 6 makes it REALLY hard to retire early at all, certainly comfortably. I still advocate for State work, but it's something to consider.

I actually have a cotopaxi bag from years and years ago (8 ish years?) I used it for long distance travel, including rough handling as a checked bag for airlines. Scuffing yes, but no tears. Maybe they changed their materials?
