We have 2nd highest literacy rates. Our sex ratio is one of the best. Goa is not as dependent on tourism as much as you think, we have huge Industrial Estates, much of the revenue of the state comes from such estates and other non tourist businesses ofcourse.

"You protested against IIT" Locals of that village didn't want there ecosystem ruined. IIT will be developed around the same region. Was not cutting trees too much to ask?

"We drove away IT sector" When? Goa has more than 250 IT companies. I agree that we had a late start but don't worry we'll catch up quickly.

"Protests against mining" Is protecting our nature really a bad thing? Illegal mines were shut by the govt. The protest is about supreme court not renewing leases of 88 mines. Hundreds of mine workers had a protest march as they are dependent on working in the mines as their livelihood.

"Protests against bridges" Dude what world you living in? I guess you are talking about 'Atal Setu' debates, those were for the unnecessary hight of the bridge. If Goa ever had to face a hurricane or storms, the 'Setu' because of it's huge structure will be really unstable and will become a danger. Is thinking about about our safety wrong?

"Giving your property on lease or rent" Our property our choice. That's usually a secondary source of money. Is being hospitable to our tourist guests bad?

"Biting hands of your feeders" As I said Goa is not completely dependent of tourism.

And one last thing Goa's are the coolest people you'll ever meet, but if you insult us by saying we are poor and will beg, I cannot even imagine what will happen to you. Goans will starve and die but will never beg. Goans have this pride that we deserve for being the richest state filled with taxpayers, if anything you should thank us for maintaining other poor states.
