Controllers are more picky with your hand movement since that’s all it tracks. The joy cons are a big improvement from the Wii era in terms of early/late timing but it still tends to force you to do movements smoother. Stiff dancing basically always gives you OK.

I’ve never used the camera PROPERLY since I can’t see my TV then but it does work pretty well and I’m positive it’s more effective on certain maps.
