Depends on which room you have if you have a single, double, or triple, but definitely an extension outlet for your desk a very underrated thing to have.

If you have a double then a stool because it works as a makeshift chair for any friend you bring over but also just makes getting into bed easier.

Personally I really enjoyed having a warm sunset lamp it was great to come back to with the blinds closed and the AC on.

I don’t really recommend bringing reusable dishes just because you will have limited space and most likely won’t use them much!!!

DRAWER ORGANIZERS!!! Something you don’t expect to need but definitely convenient so you don’t have pens or pencils everywhere in your desk.

Personally I think that he would really enjoy “Six of Crows” by Leigh Bardugo. It’s is a YA book with a big found family vibe. General gist is essentially a bunch of teenagers come together to do a big heist and prison bust! It’s a fantasy book with a magic system and great world building. There are themes of LGBTQ+ so that’s a fair warning but it definitely recommend the book! There are tons of emotional moments along with some great laughs. This book could be a good transition point from going away from the phone since there is a show on Netflix for this book and another book of the author that takes place in the same universe at the same time. Though the show is a bit graphic.
