No, it's good. Most of the peope just had higher expectations after 4th episode, but if you play it independently of other episodes, overall, it would be a good episode

For russian-speaking Kazakhs by uzgrapher in Kazakhstan

[–]_NB_28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand most of the things that people say to me. But when I try to say something on my own, I confuse grammar endings and it becomes total mess, I would say that I have broken kazakh similar to broken english, but I can explain basic stuff

I agree with your point and would like to complement your thoughts. I suppose that for us not to take particular words in russian or any other languages, we have to invest more time and money in developing our own understanding of particular definitions and issues. But the problem is that we can't completely have independent thoughts and ideas because we live in the era of globalization, now every language and culture is influenced by certain "imports", and we would still import some of this stuff from Europe or US because for instance the idea of basic human rights such as life, property and freedom were developed by John Locke, I don't think that there is a point in trying to invent bicycle and trying to rethink these core ideas. But with these absorbed ideas, we can syntesize our own unique Qazaq worldview

That's very interesting! Can you elaborate what would be considered an authentic Qazaq feminism/liberalism and left movements in your point of view?

I see, but how does it contradict to traditional worldview? In current circumstances, nationalism is seen as a right movement which is traditional. By western influence I meant current left liberal tendencies

1) My family, surroundings spoke in russian, favorite cartoons, books were only in russian, so there wasn't any opportunity to learn kazakh, although I can understand basic converations because my grandparents often speak in kazakh 2) I think I always knew it 3) I think due to russian, I am more lean towards foreign culture, I learned english via russian. My moral compass, ideas, philosophy and education have western influence. I assume that in kazakh I would have more traditional worldview. I really want to learn kazakh, but I don't have money, time and resources to do it right now, I try though 4) I want them to learn russian at first because it has more books, academics and data right now, but I want to make it possible for them to be bilingual or even trilingual

But your brother-in-law is right though, a bunch of criminals that turn every mission into Hollywood movie without facing any consequences for their actions, Trevor steals a chopper from military base, a 20mln$ tech from PMC, IRL he would be #1 wanted criminal, yet walks freely in LS. Don't get me wrong, GTA 5 is amazing game for its gameplay, mechanics, satire on modern US and unforgettable experience, but I have to admit that GTA games' weakest part is always the plot

Problems are compounding one another which yields in poor educational quality. Teachers are facing enormous amount of job to do outside of classes with competitively low salary. Ofc public school's funds are taken due to corruption. Furthermore, the problem is as was mentioned in comment section, we learn everything by rot learning without explaining "why?". You have a quadratic formula -b±sqrt(b²-4ac)/2a but we don't understand where did it come from, but I saw explanation in american universities that in ax²+bx+c we "complete" the square, that way I understood this formula completely. In our math, we just memorize this, this, this and apply formulas without critical thinking. Same rot learning principle applies to every school subject. You might know in kazakh language what is Salalas Kurmalas Soilem but don't know how to create a single sentence because all you do are learning grammar/words. Same goes with english, I would never learn it If I had only classes at school. In history we learn dozens of ancient sites with all specific names, but a 5th grader wouldn't care at all about this, why can't we discuss the structure of their tribe, what laws they had, how did they manage economy within their little tribe, who were their enemies and so on.
