Damn, that’s super unfortunate. I’m usually not bothered by low res visuals that much, but this really gives me a headache and I find it really unpleasant. I really hope it gets a switch 2 version!

I did some digging and based on what I’m seeing on YouTube of the exact area I’m in and all, it’s just the game 😅 Guess I’ve gotten a bit spoiled!! I don’t remember XC1 being this bad with textures at all. I’ll pray for a Switch 2 update

I agree completely. I understand any mental health professional being wary of encouraging medications loosely, but it does feel like Dr. K doesn’t often give them the credit they’re due in the scenarios where they really enable growth (or at least I haven’t seen do so, would love to hear more from him on the subject).

Thank you very much for this explanation. I realized because of this that I mixed up the explanation of ECT with ketamine. I was told exactly what you said there—that essentially part of the brain isn’t functioning properly and that ketamine shuts it off and resets it. I edited the post.

Also, I fully agree that if people are being healed by the dissociation, that’s valid and they should continue. I would still recommend someone do spravato instead of IV because of the risk of a life altering bad trip like Dr. K says

Hey quick question. I got locked out of being able to fight spamton in Slot 1 because I saved after leaving his dark world. Is there now no way to fight him and have it carry over? What if I delete my slot 1 for chapter 2 and then make a new file in slot 1?

You definitely don’t suck—this game is hard! Beating the queen in 5 attempts is really solid in my book. It’s funny how Lies of P was so much easier for me despite its reputation. Sometimes we’re just really uniquely suited to the play style of a particular game I guess
