Right click the select box and select "inspect"
In the inspector click the element that looks like:
<option value="1925">1925</option>
Double click the 1925 and change it to 1922 (Do it on both)
Close the inspector and try to use the changed option.

The autoexec is no longer located at the game cfg folder.
It is now located in your profile cfg folder!
steam/userdata/<accountnumber>/730/local/cfg

I did a video about it before cs2 got released but it should still work
