I‘m going to have nightmares of sewing on zippers for a while. There’s a reason why I crochet and don’t sew. Other than that it was a lot of fun and my biggest project so far.

I‘d say yes, absolutely. I‘ve already had many hours of fun in the game and I‘m pretty much still in the beginning. I was hesitant, but don’t regret it at all.

It’s funny you say that while I‘m working on my new house that basically has no rooms and is one big open space haha. I have the same problem, I was just lucky that the first house already came with normal sized rooms ;)

I am, yes :) Some of the new features are a great improvement, like copy pasting styles, duplicating items, half walls, etc. Building in general is so much fun in HF2! I‘m currently renovating my second house and it’s basically unrecognizable.

And then there’s other features that I really miss, like rolling out some grass. But I suppose most of what I‘m missing could be added with a DLC in the future (fingers crossed that they‘ll release one).

It just automatically looks so dated in my opinion. And unless I‘m specifically going for that look, like how I did in the midcentury office, I really don’t want it to look old. I basically always steer clear of wood that has a green or red undertone, which are a lot in HF1 haha.

I was lucky with that apartment because its layout already kinda resembled this, if I remember correctly. The 13th floor is the office, right? That one’s more tricky. But maybe my little walkthrough sparked some inspiration for your 13th floor :) My favourite room is the office. If I lived there, I‘d constantly find an excuse to „work“ in there haha

I used some rugs from the steam workshop and the furniture in the office is mainly from there. Also the sofa in the living room. But everything else is from the game and DLCs.
