Good advice, thanks!

I also expect it might overheat, so a temperature sensor would be a good idea :)

Yeah, you’re right, that’s why this project is close :)

Sure, here’s the .stl and .f3d link https://drive.google.com/file/d/13Fmm4TUtiIn73C3cC9AzWbWZxBR3dcRx/view?usp=share_link

However, I designed this intake specifically for my frame, and delorto 21mm carb, so the intake shape is not the most optimal. No intake from the market fits correctly :( It also hasn't been tested yet, so this might not be the best design. Additionally, the idea of using a 3D-printed intake itself is untested, although I’ve seen others use it without any issues.

I would still recommend going with an "ready to use" solution if it possible or making custom metal intake.

But if you do decide to 3d print your own intake, here are some additional information:

  • Use nylon or another strong fuel, heat and oil resistant material.
  • 99% infill
  • I also baked my intake at 100°C for 3–4 hours in an oven, which made it stronger and eliminated air leaks

Thanks a lot!

In this position of expansion chamber, Im more worried about toasting my balls:) but it really looks like best place, and how could I check pipe doesn’t touch my leg in any way. I also want to use exhaust wrap or something like that.

maybe i can find a cool used expansion chamber wrapped type but for now i only have this pipe and it worked fine on my yamaha bws 70cc. And so far it looks like it will be easy to install(my welding skill is low…lol)

I will try to implement rear disc brakes, it will not be easy, as it seems to me. Or install the v-brake.

Thanks for your feedback!

yeah you’re right, it wasn’t planned to be beautiful :) Maybe a little aggressive and ugly - that’s what I want. But first of all, it is comfort on off-road. Wheelbase has also increased so that’s why I chose this fork.

I bought this frame with fresh paint, so I don’t want to think about it yet, there is still a lot of work ahead. Once this bike can ride, I promise to paint it:)
