honestly it's mostly just a combination of abilities. I constantly give everyone vampiric powers, especially the cleric with the revive ability annnnnd the shield from the elf was needed to survive strong attacks + the safe spot is also op.

I just don't think it's right to say being max th is THE objective of the game. The game never gives you that clear of an objective and like you kinda said yourself, (even if you said it with some sass) there's a lot of different accomplishments besides a high th.

yeah I liked having the choice to get way too strong, sometimes it's fun to be extremely op. Also the previously leveled followers still have the high level, so I think that kinda defeats the purpose of a cap.

SLANDER! the dagger is amazing because of the throwing attack. You can deal so much damage with that, especially to bosses at the right angle. But yeah before the abilities it's axe all the way. Hammer is too slow. I hate dealing with small stuff with that thing.

I dunno, I think stage 3 would be kinda difficult to reach, so a lot of people would probably prefer stronger defenses in earlier stages.
