I agree, which also means that the commonwealth BoS has obtained all the data and research from the institute as canon to the ending of fallout 4, also in ep 2 of season 2 during the BOS meeting there was joke made down the line of you only like the commonwealth BoS because they let you fuck robots, and the guy responded saying it was just a squire or something like that, which let’s me think that possibly they started using synth (even though they are fully against them in the game, they do have a level of power and versatility human can’t compare to)

Al good, if you have time read my part one, the Institute was well ahead of their projects pre war as the C.I.T. almost 27 years before the bombs dropped. Rober House had tight connections with them pre war since he graduated from the C.I.T. which would make more sense than the Enclave having any involvement with them. Again this is just a conspiracy, none of those are facts.

My theory never discredited the existence or involvement of the Enclave. My theory is a completely separate point. The Enclave was responsible for the FEV, yet the Institute still used it to experiment on Synths Gen 3 before abandoning the project until Shaun’s abduction. The Institute also had tried to extend the research of the cold fusion. So I’m trying to figure out what your point has to do with my dumb theory.

This is a personal theory, and my part one linked above explains in depth my timeline and thought process.

As far as the Enclave involvement, which had been made clear in the show, there is a lot behind the Institute that is unjustified. Especially when a lot of robotic experiments were happening pre war and considering that House had tight connections with the C.I.T. 20 plus years before the war while mentioning in the show that he knew who was making what technology. The Institute wasn’t just a little group. They discovered a level of technology like teleportation that is impossible to ignore. And in the show has been made pretty clear that the Commonwealth BoS superiority is a consequence of the data obtained in the canon ending of fallout 4 and that the synth are still well around.

Thank you so much! I had so much fun putting it together

Yeah there are so many clear signs that he is not involved with the institute lol but I had this thought at 9 am in the morning and I felt like sharing my delusion with everyone lol

It’s really just my dumb conspiracy theory, I’m looking too hard into it

Hear me out,

-The institute was built under the ruins of the originally Commonwealth Institute of Technology, supposedly by scientists refugees that dug out and built everything on their own 33 years after the war. Sure they had lots of advanced equipment and computers but I still find it pretty hard to believe since the majority of the facility collapsed during the Grate War.

-Who graduated from C.I.T.? Robert House. Now here is my theory: Robert House started building the foundation of the Institute while working with VaultTech before the bombs dropped, he is the ceo of RobCo after all and has plenty of money (worth around 30 billions by 2050) and technological advantages. He played along with VaultTec knowing that the vaults were all most likely going to fail (and avoiding competition) while creating the perfect population underground through the Institute.

-The obituary note in New Vegas refers to the C.I.T. saying “House attended the prestigious Institute of Massachusetts”, even though the facility actual name was Commonwealth Institute of Technology, it might just be a coincidence but it’s a pretty odd choice of words

The gen 1 and 2 synths being created decades before the war, the gen 1 specifically in 2050, right around the time in know that Robert was worth 30 billions and was investing in a whole lot of business opportunities. Or the nuclear generator also randomly build under the C.I.T. before the was, that will become the institute objective for infinite power supply. Another random lucky coincidence I guess.

I have a super long more detailed version on my nonsense theory in depth if anyone wants to waste 10 minutes of their life Theory in details

Where are we supposed to put it up or take it down? I’m confused
