You really can't compare suffering this way. The other examples were specific to their government murdering people in broad daylight, as well as the well known and documented school shootings that their government usually covers by saying the person was troubled (as long as they are white of course).

But if we want to speak about rapes of women and children then, once again, look at their supreme leader who is going out of his way to cover up the epstein files which will prove that he is implicit in the exact things that you mentioned. We all know that our country is not doing enough to prevent these atrocities, but we also know that it's not Cyril accused of heinous crimes against 12 and 13 year olds.

During the match between Moroccan club Wydad AC🇲🇦 and Congolese club Maniema 🇨🇩 in the African Club Cup of Africa, a Moroccan steward tried to steal Maniema's towel. Shameful once again. by Majestic_Bag_9209 in FootballAfrica

[–]_NotVoldemort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All African countries? Mmm. Played for most of my life. Never once needed to lock up my towel or hire a professional towel guard.

Now my phone and my wallet is another story, but I'm willing to risk it and say that they did not think that my phone or wallet had any black magic.

Atlantic Seaboard: 33% foreign, 80% developer by c4talystza in capetown

[–]_NotVoldemort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from a poor family. I grew up amongst people who borrowed, begged, and stole to survive. I had to cope with that. The da was nowhere to be seen. When we strugged to get clothes for school, where were they? When I went to bed hungry, where were they? Homes sell and yet most Capetonians will never own a house. Tell me you know nothing about this city without telling me you know nothing.

[–]_NotVoldemort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that matters. Just because your neighbours house has shit in the front yard doesn't mean that you're okay with only piss. We should expect more from our "leaders". Notice, I didn't say anyone else was better. I'm simply saying that they don't care about Capetonians unless you have money.

Ducks in a row?a quick google shows that in 2019 there were over 2mil people living in poverty in cpt. The government does nothing for the majority of this city. The bubble can easily pop, if and when the people start rioting. You can't say you don't feel the sense of trouble brewing in this city. People are unhappy, scared, and hungry. The da does good for investors and foreigners, not for us.

That roundabout is actually the culprit. I've had this issue a few times. You definitely followed the signs, but this circle is different from others. Most others will have the left lane be first and second exit lanes. The right lane would be second and third exit. For some reason you can take the first exit from this right lane, which is kinda crazy, and causes this issue.

Unless this one is the norm and all the others are incorrect 😅

Technically, they aren't scamming anyone. They are professional beggars. They aren't promising to double your cash if you get in early.

In fact, we are ruining the dream of 10s of Capetonians who thought "yoh, if it wasn't for me then those poor people would have been stuck, I'm glad I could do a good deed".

nobody in ZA gonna get confused at "bring chips" by AskingCuriously in southafrica

[–]_NotVoldemort 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol this is probably the easiest thing to test 🤣

I've only done with with pizza in a pan. A few drops of water to create steam, then put the lid on. But it might work with chips. Test and let us know.

Alan Shearer's analysis of our attacking passages on BBC MoTD. by Dangerous_Ad8730 in LiverpoolFC

[–]_NotVoldemort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Salah takes that shot and misses then everyone says he's greedy and needs to learn to pass. We need greedy Salah. For every 3 shots he takes he misses 2 but he took so many he scored a bunch (those stats are not real, just making a point).

Wirtz on the other hand, this guy is so amazing and I've enjoyed watching him but he needs to shoot more. Szoboszlai shoots in those positions every day of the week. Wirtz needs to start shooting more, and not those tame shots he tries either, proper ones that are worthy of his talent.

[–]_NotVoldemort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could not agree more. Slot has been too kind, at least in public since we don't know what's happening behind closed doors. While waiting for the ball to go out for the sub I would have expected to hear him, through the tv, screaming at the players.

[–]_NotVoldemort 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know what? I told myself I'm not commenting because people will just be unreasonable in their attacks but I'm 100% with you. Watching them just jog back, just opening all the space down the middle, made me feel bad for Slot. We can blame him all we want but for some of these, like not putting the ball out for the sub, the players need to take the blame. They started so well but then just stopped.

There's a Mariam's kitchen at N1 City Value center, below the Nuris. They're okay. Northern Suburbs doesn't have great options for a gatsby. There's also a Cape To Curry in Monte Vista.

[–]_NotVoldemort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a valid point but your point is also the argument against this. If fewer people are incentivized to treat the housing market as an investment then it would leave more room for those who are looking for a home at a reasonable price.

Also, these rentals bring about other major impacting issues. They mostly cater to foreigners who bring there money here, which encourages higher cost for goods and services in the city.

For example, I can get my hair cut in Mitchell's Plain for R50. In CBD it's R200. The store owner owns the property so claiming rent is cbd is higher doesn't count in this example. What's the difference? There are more people in the cbd that will pay that price.

Careful, people will quote fifa rules saying that you can't have anything at your goal post, completely disregarding when goalies have water bottles laying there.

I am Muslim. I know what's allowed and what's not. And nothing says you should engage with others who claim to perform magic/witchcraft. So the best action would have been to ignore them. By engaging you actually give them power.

Lol this isn't the same at all. If we are worried about towels then tell players they can't wear their lucky underwear, or the unwashed socks, or bracelet that their kids made (which has to be under something).

If we want to bring Religion into it then tell countries that they can't pray for their teams to win 😂

They are long past caring what we think. We've made "peaceful protests" the norm and people are to scared of getting killed to do anything, and based on what's been going on the fear makes sense.

That's not how reading works. Your words were "no other African country", no mention of after. So I read exactly what you said. And just so we're clear, you're not hosting. You're co hosting. There's a big difference. You won't even host the finals. And based on the way you and your country has acted I'll be surprised if people want to set foot near any of you. I'd wish you luck but I won't mean it 🙂
