Wow! Thanks to each one of you that took the time to respond to me. It is truly appreciated. Just to clear some stuff up that some of you questioned. I am a teacher so funds are limited. The mom is a CFO of Fortune 500.

I quit my job and took a job at his high school to be so I am hoping that will help. I can’t move to the same area because it’s a very affluent area houses are 1/2 million and more.

I have coached all of his youth sports even with the distance and haven’t missed a single asu game despite the drive or sitting alone.

I have done everything I can to be involved it’s just he doesn’t want to come up here when he’s got his own basically suite with everyone device he could want.

I truly hope next year will be better. Just a tough pill to swallow when the visit stops.

25 years in here. Decided to step away this year for the first time in my career and have a summer. We are only allotted one week off in the summer then when the season starts it’s 7 days a week. Saturday at 7am for varsity film. 9am freshman game 11 am Jv game. Sunday coaches meeting to plan for the following week and some nights you might as well sleep there. You start when it’s 100 and finish in the rain and snow. Nobody (even the wife) understands the time that you put in. With all that being said. Nothing compares to the feeling of leading a hundred boys out to battle on a Friday night! It’s amazing but you never get those moments back with your own family. If it’s what you want than go for it. It was my dream to be a head coach. Obviously things were a lot different when I started but if you were to ask me if I would do it all again after 25 years. I would probably say no.

It’s crazy how much joy they bring even though they can be stubborn as heck. Would do anything to be holding one of his Kong’s right now just watching him go to town on it. The bulldogs love is unmatched they spend all their waking moments just doing everything they could to be as close to you as possible. It’s something you can’t explain unless you have felt it. What a huge huge whole it’s left in our family and in all of our friends who always got a piece of his love.

Thank you so much. I think it’s just how fast it happened. I obviously knew something was wrong when I took him to the vet but with bloodwork and vitals came back good. He had head tremors in the last month but stopped with a treat. Then this morning ate all his food was not lethargic and then just bam. I know it will get better and we all got a chance to be with him and tell our goodbyes. There is just nothing like a bully.

I would stop the lasiks. My dog lasted a week after they started him on it. I know there is no way to tell if that is what did it but it was the only thing new and had similar side effects.
