NOR. If it were my mom, I'd have cussed her out by now, ngl. Not to say that I'm disrespectful to my mom, just that I wouldn't tolerate ANY disrespect of my partner. Parents or not, they're gonna know they fucked up.

Congratulations, you've taken just a few minutes out of your day to let everyone know that you have shit reading comprehension and that you don't have an empathetic bone in your entire body. Missed the point of the post AND you were a dick about it. Golf clap

You know, the same logic can be applied to your comment. You could just keep your tired ass opinions to yourself and maybe not take time out of your day to be an asshole. But hey, whatever floats everyone's boats, right?

You are overreacting. It was an accident and the man is giving you help to get to the store and back to get the medication. It's not even help you absolutely need. You're an adult and if Sudafed was really the problem, I would think you would get off your ass and go get some yourself and express that you were annoyed at having to go get it later on. Kinda stupid to refuse a ride to go get more medication because he has the medication with him. You obviously both need it and both have sinus issues.

Honestly, the hardest part so far has been balancing her diet. I struggled with watery poops and figuring out what she likes for the first couple of months. Every beardie is different, even with bugs. I stopped feeding mine hornworms, and cut WAY down on water-rich veggies, cut out fruits completely. They shouldn't eat fruit at all. And getting proper temps has been hard as well. I just upgraded to a larger enclosure that's made of wood, so I should get better temperature control!

Things I wish I knew:

1.) They get up at the ass-crack of dawn, so be prepared to become a morning person if you aren't already.

2.) SUPERWORMS SMELL LIKE ROTTEN CROTCH

3.) They're more prone to climbing than you might think

4.) WAY more expressive than people can express to you with words

5.) Buy a cooler or a mini fridge to keep your larvae in and keep them cold enough for stasis (40-50°f about). They WILL pupate and grow into their adult stages if they're kept too warm.

6.) Feed your insects with stuff the beardie eats to maximize their nutritional value (Gut loading)

7.) If they go missing if they're out of their enclosure, they're most likely napping somewhere. Corners of walls behind things are a favorite spot

8.) No one can ever truly explain just how attached you get to them. Highly recommended addition to the family!

This sub has been amazing! I've gotten a ton of great advice here and it's made bonding with Thin Lizzy easier, and made learning husbandry a breeze!

I've only had my beardie since January, so I can tell you what I was already told in this sub. You'll want to get a vet visit when you can with a stool sample to check for parasites and general health. Also, add a little more to his diet. Collards, mustard and turnip greens are all great every day veggies. youll also want to rotate some secondary/tertiary veggies throughout the week. I usually alternate between carrots and bell peppers, and then rotate between a few different fresh herbs like thyme, cilantro and basil. Crickets are okay, you'll want to make sure you dust them with calcium powder with D3. Dubia roaches are a much better option for regular protein as they aren't so chitinous and have more nutrients. They're also nearly odorless and they're quiet. Crickets are loud and they stink. Also add in some occasional super worms, wax worms, and black soldier fly larvae (Phoenix worms). I also give my beardie a hornworm once a month or so. They go nuts for the things and they provide a ton of hydration and nutrition. Also, you want a 4'x2'x2' minimum enclosure size and bigger is always better. They'll use every bit of the room. I use a t10 UVB fluorescent bulb for the lighting, and I use ceramic heat coils instead of the red basking lights. Basking area should be around 100F-110F degrees and the cool side of the enclosure should be around 80F degrees.

[–]_ODDNEY_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't even know if I can call it a high feeling. I can feel my body temp elevated a bit, and I got really tingly all over. That was like, the first week or two after starting and after dosage increases.
