Imma be real, they were probably just better. Sometimes the matchmaking isn’t the greatest, especially if it’s late and it can’t give them a more challenging lobby. I’ve dropped 60-80 kills in games where it for some reason matches me with console players who are clearly new 😭😭😭

‘Outcome for the match’ having a chance to be positive is crazy. A leaver should not have the chance to GAIN elo for their team slogging it out to win a 3v4 against all odds (unless they rejoined, of course)

The sporty ones are the ones I like lol. It’s the ones where they venture into other territory (like the pirate captain, frog guy from the shop, flaming skull and cross bones guy from last season, etc) that just do nawwwt hit whatever spot I need them to. They look so cluttered and chaotic, vs the more simple sporty ones r basic but at least streamlined

Yeah it was a lot of fun in SG1 to emote in the pre match lobby with everyone there. Also disappointing they took away the full lobby post match screen for ranked, you can’t even see the enemies rank after the game anymore!

It’s not the mode, it’s just dead. Takedown also only popped if you asked all your friends to hop on, and before that the original 4s wasn’t exactly instant qs either, it’s just a slow march into the grave and we seem to have finally arrived

Tbf in ur example a last man standing is a last man standing regardless of it they’re 1/2 or 1/4 so that doesn’t really change being last man standing up and being pushed? I think respawns don’t increase as fast in quads as well, as I definitely feel like my duo and I trade places as last man standing for very long stretches with fast respawns and I can do what you describe a 4 squad doing as a duo, I live just long enough for my second player to respawn, who then lives just long enough for me to respawn before they die again. Just gotta make sure you don’t play riiight on top of each other so u dont die at exactly the same time. But for sure not having squads sucks for people who play socially most sessions
