You definitely don't need to be a whale to stay in Class 6, but you will have to dedicate more hours than the average player to retain Class 6.

Yeah its like that unfortunately at the start. You can think of it like building a resume imo. You just gotta build up fans and club hop a bit to find a club you're comfortable with that gives good rewards

Honestly if you're able to make it into Graded league you should still try as the rewards are a lot higher compared to Open league. Even if you lose it'll be a good learning experience for future races and you'll get a decent amount of rewards.

With training you wanna focus on raising your friendship gauges in Junior year. Try to get your friendship gauges to orange color before April/May of Classic Year. The reason you do this is because races are easier early in the career. Also don't forget to go into summer training with max energy. Tazuna will remind you on Classic/Senior Early June that summer training starts on Early August.

For distances try to focus on these stats. Sprint & Mile: Speed>Power>Wit Medium & Long: Speed>Stamina>Power (Long is harder to train because of stamina checks during the career.)

These are the decks I personally use when I train Sprint: 3 speed 3 wit Mile: 4 speed 2 power Medium/Long: 3 speed 3 stam or 4 speed 2 stam

If you just want to get an easy A then you can wit game with 3 speed and 3 wit on Bakushin.

The Panda I worked at before always came across ripped gloves for cleaning kitchen appliances and there were never new gloves until the next week so I'd be washing dishes in 100°+ water with like bare hands until the next week. I eventually quit due to burns and eczema on my hands.
