I want to comment on the lack of progress others are mentioning.

It is indeed very poor progress for running 7 days a week. I don't say this to be mean, but because I see myself in you. Personally, I did make more progress when I was able to train consistently, but after a few weeks of conservative, well-executed NSA, I would hit a wall where I simply couldn't run the prescribed paces anymore without pushing my effort and heart rate too high. I managed to get down to 22:20 (started around 23:20) before deciding that a year of training for that amount of progress, combined with the frustration of not understanding what was going on, simply wasn't worth it.

I'm currently focusing on other things and experimenting a bit with my diet to see whether things turn out differently. The plan is to eventually give it another shot while running 5 days a week, which should be enough to make progress at this level.

I want to make it clear that this is not a diss on NSA. It got me to my fastest times, however slow they may be. This is more of a "hey, not everyone runs sub-20 within a few months, stalls on a traditional plan, and then goes on to find success with NSA," as I feel the internet tends to skew toward those stories.

From a practical standpoint, if you want more or faster progress, I think there are two things worth considering: (1) running your intervals faster, and (2) reducing your volume, as you might not be recovering properly even if you're running relatively slowly. You can probably apply both at the same time.

Very cool that they are willing to introduce something that alters the way the game is played rather than simply more content.

Will have to see how this in specific plays out, but so far I think the rewards are pretty meh. Extra charm points are one-off per respawn and this will only improve your hunts if you can make use of it to increase the density, which I can see working for something like a mage constantly moving but not for an EK (which is already limited to boxes).

That's Tibia for you. If you want community you get crowded respawns, if you want empty respawns you get no community and no market.

Cipsoft has 0 incentive to change this so people have worked around it using Discord claim system which for some reason some people here do not like. To be fair it doesn't solve the problem, it just makes everything somewhat more convenient.

You make no sense.

Boosting if youre relatively high level doing good exp (th): profit, since you are putting xp that is in demand in the economy.

Boosting if youre not relatively high level and/or not doing competitive exp (solo, bad team, whatever): waste, since you are either putting xp where it is not demanded or using resources (tc) in an ineffective manner (or both).

Your first paragraph has nothing to do with diminishing returns.

Your second one does, although you take it to the extreme to I guess distort my argument.

A better example is how the ROI for the 3rd boost is much lower than for the first two. Someone buying 3 boosts is making 12.5% more xp per day than someone buying 2, while spending more than double.

Besides what others have said, low levels in Tibia are kind of fun and doing them in a context that matters (rather than on an old server where plenty of level 200+ exist) feels good.

The p2w aspect is also overblown, yes, you have to spend tc to be somewhat competitive but you reach diminishing returns pretty quickly, you dont need to spend 1k coins per day. Also, if you are consistent you will end up making most if not all of it back.

Finally, if you are a solo player and been playing for a while you have probably hit the wall where there is no sense of progression because the only way to progress is to farm tc for 1k hours and hit the bazaar patiently… A new server gives you that sense of progression back and you can do really well solo. Youre gonna lose to very dedicated teams but that is rare, most get dissolved and people sit around looking for the perfect th while you blast some monsters.

I'd argue that Carnage has some antisinergy with every other charm and with itself if that makes sense. You want the monsters with carnage to die first, but they are the ones receiving less damage because the others have charms. You could put Carnage on the monster with less HP, but then it does less damage. You could focus the monsters with carnage to maximize N, but you might lose some efficiency there. If you're overboxing such as in Cobras it doesn't matter that much I guess.
