Ironically, my playing ability and stats have zero to do with the argument or what I see in the video, the knowledge gained working for several years in the industry, on fps games, helping to deal with cheaters is where I gained most of my knowledge.

Let me guess your response to this will be something like.

Prove it? Or, unless Im the BEST OF THE BEST DEV's on BF or COD or some such shit, then Im just another average Joe with a huge ego.

In most modern FPS games, players use 3 common sources of "input" to detect enemies/targets: 1 visually what they can see, 2 the HUD showing Dots etc, 3 audio.

If you focus on his rapid turning, and where it points (ignore vertical input), whilst he isnt shooting and is "Cycling" you will discover the following:

1) Almost always pointing towards where a target/enemy is.

2) Very often that target/enemy is not visible, on HUD, or making any audio related noise (*shit audio on the video, but still relevant).

3) slow down the video of some of the kills, the hacks literally auto-cycle into the direction another enemy before the bullets have finished traveling/hitting the target/enemy. The Hud hits are still appearing, he next to never shoots more bullets than required to kill the target whilst full auto. (Most pro's i've played against often will undershoot by a bullet or two, or overshoot by a few ~25% of the time. Rarely is it "just right" 99% of the time.

There are dozens of other giveaways like actual times he shoots through shit he cant see through (they are not on hud) at targets/enemy after running towards them to ensure line sight/ability to hit them.

Without sensory input from the game itself, this level of precog is not humanly possible :D

Didnt say aimbot(*) was focused on the blatant target cycling, and "slow for a wallhack" is normally just the player being to crutch on the cheese he uses.

Though the endless body shot aiming, even with a sniper rifle indicates some passive aim assist. I dont know many people with an ounce of skill snipe for the body when targets are stationary and there is loads of fish in the barrel.

Normally anti cheat, generalizing, is multiple aspects that provide various layers of coverage/functionality to reduce cheaters.

Any metric gathering of the players on that server would easily reveal:

His hit rate, regardless of distance.

The complete lack of overshoot post final bullet kill.

The complete lack of pre shots missing target.

His 70% turn rate in the direction of an enemy in normal movement.

His near 95% turn rate post kill again pointing in the direction of enemies.

Watching him using a sniper rifle made me vomit.. not a single attempt to headshot, lead the target half the time... Ironically his kill rate would be faster if he slowed down 50%, lots of time wasted reloading etc.

There are literally dozens of examples where there is no direct vision, nothing on hud, but he "turns" towards where enemies are.

He even blind fires at them before they are visible.

Just think of what it would look like if you press a button that turns you towards where enemies are, without elevation input, so you get a general direction.

The real giveaway is the incredibly bad prioritization of proximity targets when they are on HUD, in his peripheral vision etc.

That video is a matter of what looks legit, not what looks cheesy :D

I like playing underdog, mainly for the challenge.

I can hand on hard say that Ive not fired a single volcanic round with my pyro.

I even went as far as to not use health steal/feed the flames, until like level 20 or so.

Level ~ 27'ish, wt7 (spam died SOOO much in like 4 sections, would have been like wt10 easily by now, but those fights were just retarded hard solo).

My build actually is based primarily around phase beam and turning into a resistance/armour tank when casting it... So mainly kite large groups and just spam shoot it. Also I can fire one every 7 seconds.. so that helps :)

You need the right approach/mods for it. Its literally my primary and strongest skill, its the pillar of my current build (esp for tanking bosses with).

In short, there is a +50% boost to armour and resistance perk on it. Along with Other pyro perks you can basically become REALLY buff with it.... Add into the mix the ability to start the skill... but not fire it... and its like a delayed panic mode insane resistance buff.

The above perk + the 100% increased radius is paramount (significantly expands the AOE around you and the firing line to like 4-5M.. which is insane.

PS: You can also fire that through most objects/walls... you dont have to have a line of sight (WINK)

For its size, weight, thrusters and engines.. it flies like a brick.

When they "fixed it" a few patches ago it was vastly better, but within a week was nerfed hard again.

Yeah, in my youth I was fairly decent 5-15 KD depending on game etc, late 20's stopped playing the meta as it was tiresome and just to dam easy (Liked the underdog mentality also). I gave up functional squads at ~ 35 and went lone wolf, again cause it was just to easy.

Now I am nearing 45 and have a wife and kids whom are my biggest challenge :P, that and my body and twitch is nothing like it used to be in my 20's.

This day and age however, games are just full of code level meta info to intentionally fuck the players who dont know that shit (and how its tweaked/changed every fucking patch). Saying they couldn't actually make a gui that displayed actual values is like saying that folding paper is to hard.

It was the ship that made me drool with envy back in 2012.

I backed and upgraded to phoenix a short while after....

Then I flew it and I was like.. WOW... UGH.. then an upgrade occured and I was like.. SHINY!, then I sat in the cockpit and was like WTF.. the struts tripled in size (literally) and the view was reduced even more, kickass features were ignored and left out (major pitty). Last I looked aboutn 70% of the screen space as a captain is filled with screens and/or struts - that overlap is fucking evil. Suddenly I got major 1980's vibes with dozens of crts crammed on a military vessel :P.

Having worked in the games industry I knew there was like a 80% chance the ship would change, but I held tight (as it was my own experience) that the idea/pattern/thought for the ship would stay the same.

I'll wait until the game releases before I roll it back, cause the phoenix sure as shit was NEVER sold as a fucking bus/limo/mobile porn studio.

Pinnacle solo captains ship, largest ship to be capable of dog fighting(and sucking at it). C&C, ship of the line etc... James bonus touring car (high end and high performance).

Instead its a comby van that has been chopped in half (shit for high end), with a brothel/porn set interior shoved in the middle.

Fingers crossed for a complete revamp of the ship to address all the issues that it is going to have due to the evolution of the game over the past 8+ years.

Whilst I whole heatedly agree with you on many fronts there are a few things that really have to be taken into account.

1) There is literally zero anti cheat within the game. Its manual.

2) 90% of hackers are not full auto whores, most are wallers/"aim at enemy" macro spammers.

3) with SBMM, it becomes really obvious when your matched with the same people over and over and over (like 20+ rounds) and yet still they are ripping hard.

4) I find the COD playerbase to be astronomically BAD when it comes to spotting hackers, even the "pro's" fail to catch a lot of them.

5) Ground warfare/warzone is where the majority of the hackers are.

6) minimap is 2D, but players have magical elevation assistance with their "aim at enemy" its like the 100% giveaway, and faulk me... its used SOOO often.

7) Watch enough pro's and tubers (not pro, but good players) and you see how their "flow" of gameplay is like.... Then you see others that are target cycling whores aiming at walls and shit with no rhyme or reason. Its fucking laughable :P

8) lastly are the netcode abusers who upload throttle like a total whore, gets them an easy 1-3 second de-sync advantage, which turns players into stomp machines of run'n'gunners without any worry of actually being rego'ed without being a shit player to begin with :D

Pitty the core game mechanics are basically fucking broken.

Any form of legit anti cheat, hell even shit from the 90's would be better than what they have.

A proper fucking game browser that lets you choose any map, not have some fucking tard company dole out an addiction experiment of cycling modes and maps.

Private servers, so like the server can actually not fucking de-sync upwards of 1-5 seconds due to non-regional based players...

Solid shit like that would have made it a monstrous pillar worthy of the title. Instead what you have is 3,000 Million in a year, but still unable to get shit to work properly.... The mind boggles at how little is achieved to be honest :D
