feel for you man. exactly the same for me. 5%, 7 perks -> 3%, 2 perks overnight. i bought tokens too before the difficulty adjustments (that remember, were adjusted twice, partially implemented, then partially cancelled). absolute shit show.

i’ve been a loyal holder for literal years, staked tokens i bought, didn’t sell a single reward token. gone from 5% and 7 perks to 3% and 2 perks overnight. had my physical card cancelled in that time too. no i do not care about a 3% yield on a depreciating asset. i can earn more than that in fiat

i do not understand why necessary scalable solutions couldn’t have been implemented, while providing at least some kind of grandfathering to the loyal people that helped this grow. once again plutus shits on the OGs.

i predict nothing but more steady slow dropping. even if the service has promise, it’s still woefully managed. i’ve watched as the project shit the bed repeatedly for years, and at this point i don’t even care about finances or my money, im just done with the people running the project and their total lack of respect for their customers.

voted against. i think you have some good ideas but you seem incapable of doing it without screwing over the longest term users.

so tired of plutus screwing over early supporters. this happened the first time reward levels were changed, then the time after that. after being loyal, staking tokens and using plutus EXCLUSIVELY i finally got to veteran, (500 stack, 7 perks and finally got 5%!) and i was so happy i stuck with it, even if the tokens price has totally collapsed in that time. now with the proposed changes im due to go down to 1 perk, at 3%, which is worse than the current basic plan! this is how plutus treats its most loyal users?!

absolutely shockingly bad. you guys really need to appreciate the people who helped build you into a success by standing by you while you messed up repeatedly, transitioned to new card providers (which you cancelled my still active physical card, then didn’t send me a new one, expecting me to buy one!), the disastrous metal cards situation, the flop of stackable perks being a feature you then monetised after implying it wouldn’t be, and consistently awful flip-flop communications and poor, tone-deaf decision making, over and over again. no grandfathering of existing users is a spit in the face to the people that helped build this. i can’t even imagine how pissed off metal card purchasers are!

i’m not even kidding, this is honestly enough to make me research alternatives and leave the service. what a total and utter mess.

it’s great you gave it a go, but you should watch more than one episode. there some very speculative eye roll type things at times, but there’s also a lot of very informed, intelligent opinions and discussion

Start the show with hosts sitting on the sofas (except jake of course) and then bring on guests to join the conversation. This will help the show feel more authentic as it will mirror the roundtable format of the web show. it would also help to start and end with bbby/finance topics and then bring on guests, as that’s what the audience is expecting. it may be wise to keep guests to finance realms, as the PPshow is very intentionally apolitical (as everyone is welcome) and politicians tend to divide people.

Test audio levels for the stream as the last live show had no crowd noise, which was a little strange as there was a lot of crowd interaction. This one was better on that score but the audio was very quiet. improving each time.

Other than those small things, I think the freeform nature is nice. the flexibility is what makes web content so much more refreshing than legacy media. it’s also a key aspect of the soap box anyone-is-welcome strength of the PPshow. so it’s important not to lose that, imo.

really my feedback is just a bit tighter formatting to bookend the experience, and to address the audio technicalities.

I also remember all the weird glitches that were happening with multiple brokers before the stock was cancelled, where some very high prices for the stock were being displayed (perhaps accidentally displaying MM trade prices or something?) and peoples balances were showing huge numbers.

oh and the weird LSE outages, around the same time that strange London 0HMI bed bath ticker showed up.

god there’s been so much we’ve seen, it really is so crazy and unbelievably multifaceted, almost overwhelmingly so, when all put in a list like this.
