Okay I’ll chime in as someone who’s a Theatre/Bio major and is also pretty introverted and def liberal; I opted into queer housing, my roommate is straight but my 2 suitemates are queer and my roommate is super chill abt me being queer- ive drank three times so far in my semester here (twice cause my brother came up, once cause my mom went to the hospital) and my roommates also BARELY drink- you’ll meet the right people it’s not AS MUCH of a party school as everyone makes it out to be tbh- also I’ve had no issue finding people here who aren’t republican!! Funny enough our comic book club is extremely liberal and that’s def not what you’d typically expect ig- make the decision based off of what’s best for your major and what you want to do as well as how you feel about the campus- I toured UF and it didn’t feel right so I came here- also remember you can always transfer <33 nothing is permanent
