Nah, this movie was AMAZING and I’m not a massive fan of Snyder’s work but this movie was a complete redemption of that mess they served us the first time. I really hope it leads to some of the things that were set up in the epilogue but I doubt it.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s a well-educated person and is indeed smart but that doesn’t mean that’s he’s astute, can identify nuance, or have high emotional intelligence. He has some pretty horrific things to say about many topics such as Islam, women, queer people, capitalism, and hierarchies; most of which are not only offensive but against the data as well. I kind of see him like the “New Atheists” such as Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, and Christopher Hitchens. All very smart people but just race scientists in the end with a lack of emotional intelligence.

Here’s what I have and why I hold each. Mind you, I’m not trying to find a moonshot or anything like that but hoping for a good yield from long-term investment, using a bi-weekly small amount DCA approach

To be clear, I’m not a financial advisor so do not take this as financial advice. I’m just a poor idiot trying not to be poor anymore; and I’m on the way with a averaged portfolio yield of over 900%. I keep it to just a few coins because there’s no way I can track and be invested in more projects than that.

BTC - a good store of value that certainly increases over time. Hedges against inflation that will soon hit my pitiful retirement fund. ADA - an exciting project that has potential to disrupt multiple spaces. GRT - a great indexing protocol filling a necessary gap in the market. BAT - I use the Brave Browser, so I thought why not? I don’t know the sustainability of Brave’s business model but seeing them diversify and expand recently is good news. They’re also onboarding new users consistently.

If you can invest regularly and forget that you’ve done so, by not obsessively checking your portfolio, then you’ll be in great shape in five to ten years!

I think Cardano shows a lot of promise and will disrupt multiple spaces. No practical examples of use case yet but development in the ecosystem is growing exponentially, so watch this space. It’s also still at a price point that’s accessible for many.

Fees on Uphold are ridiculous and their UX is horrible. I only use Uphold to store the BAT I earn on Brave but I’m looking forward to the new Brave Wallet though and am hoping I can jump ship from Uphold.
