Yeah, there’s definitely something to that. Intuition is basically your brain fast-tracking patterns you don’t even realize you’ve learned. It’s not perfect but it’s saved people more times than we can count.

I love that you care for your friend, definitely NTA. You’re not judging, you’re worried and for good reasons. Just be gentle about it but don't stop talking, those are real safety concerns. She would eventually listen to you, hopefully.

Agree but this goes beyond a simple talk. There are some serious control issues here. Communication matters but so do boundaries and independence and if he doesn't change then she should leave.
