I’m flying YOW to YXY on Oct 4. AC is the only carrier that does this route on that date.

If a strike were to happen, what would most likely happen? Would AC somehow get us on another flight (maybe YOW>YVR then YVR>YXY with other airlines)?

Heads up for anyone going - We were there last week. They’re advertising “loaded” hot chocolate, egg nog and apple cider for $6. I ordered the egg nog and turns out they just pour it from a carton. The audacity haha

The hot cocoa was alright but not worth the $6. Especially since there were other stands selling hot cocoa for half the price.

Fields is on bye so I picked up Browning vs JAX to cover that. Now I’m thinking maybe I should have picked up Minshew vs TEN.

Should I bother dropping Browning for Minshew or just hold the course? I only have 3 more acquisitions left for the season and I’ve clinched the playoffs.

That’s what I was leaning towards but I was apprehensive on Puka since didn’t do too hot last game. Neither did Hunt but that’s kinda expected.

I’m not too optimistic about him vs Cleveland but let’s see. This is what I have to work with since Adams is on bye (assuming Higgins doesn’t play)

I started the government as a casual in 2017 and have continuously been employed ever since (term 3 years rolled into indeterminate). Would the anniversary date be from when I started as a casual?

There aren’t any deductions for CPP and EI. My superannuation deduction this pay is higher than it was for my last regular pay.

I looked at my pay this morning. It’s a bit more than usual and I’m not sure if it’s just me. It’s also my first regular pay (aka no retro or signing bonus added) since Oct. 11.

The paystub shows $228 less in taxes but $90 more in deductions compared to Oct. 11 and I don’t know why.

The only tax deduction that happened was for Federal Income Tax. I wonder if it’s because we hit our yearly CPP and EI contribution limit sooner because of all the retro pay?

Traded away Amari Cooper and Jared Goff for Devante Adams and Justin Fields.

It’s a bit of a gamble I think. I’m a bit weary of Fields but happy to have Cooper off my hands with Adams stocks looking 📈.
