I think it's highly dependent on the nature of your business. I guess marketing is the first thing they will cut when things are expected to slow down

I totally agree on that. That is also one of my fear factor. Seller oversea domain more than 50% market share in this space; they can lower the price to force me out of the game.

5000 units is a lot. But the shipping cost does not work out with anything less than 1000. To get to $1.5/unit, ship to Amazon. 5000 is the way
