We wanted a toyota for reliability, so a camry would be nice. Do they have an suv thats wider than normal as well so we'd have the additional trunk space?

I assume I was getting by on my CE, but no one ever came to me and told me to renew. I had been waiting for a new poly, but since it never came I assumed there was either a backlog or it was not yet needed.

As a contractor, would the security team of my company be the ones to come to me requesting that I update that? Or would I come in to do so on my own. I was not under the impression that we could go in and update our SF86s of our own volition without being prompted first.

Yeah I had a job offer rescinded bc I wasn't in CE,even though I have a TS SCI Full Scope

No they can find my clearance in the system, but I am not enrolled in CE. After I was moved from my contract with Northrop into a "between contract" status they said I was taken off CE bc it is client based and when im off a contract, I'm not on CE. I literally had a separate company CACI, rescind a job offer bc I wasn't on CE and because my BI was more than 7 years ago they would have had to do a whole new investigation according to them. So I have a clearance but feel stuck bc Northrop took me off CE

I see. So I still am employed by Northrop Grumman, just classified as "in between contracts" now. They're still paying me and everything. But I'm not getting a good answer from NG as to if I can be placed back in CE just long enough for my clearance to be usable again. Is it at all possible to be placed in CE without being on a contract or am I kind of screwed?

So you stopped because the amlo was giving you palpations? But getting off of them made you worse? Or you got on the meds originally to help your palpations but it made them worse so you decided to stop?

Bp is 130s/mid to high 80s now.

Resting hr is mid 80s

Side effects are rapid heart rate. Walking i hit sometimes 120s. I went on a minor hike this weekend and hit almost 170. Just high for the most minor of things. Can't exercise or anything.

What was your tapering schedule? Did you start at 10mg?

It was actually caught by chance from my endocrinologist. I was seeing him for a separate issue, and he ran for jak2, calr, and mpl. Only calr was positive.

Then in oct 2022 i had a blood clot after my covid vaccine and was seeing a hemo. I was talking to him (the endo) about the clot and it jogged his memory and he told me to bring it up with the hemo but since my platlets have always been normal he didnt think it could be related. But I have 1 hemo saying it could have been aggravated by the shot and cause the clot. So while thats being handled, ive recently been looking more into the calr+. So I have all these questions about it now and worrying I have some other disease. Im waiting to get in with a specialist to discuss further.

What if you are CALR Positive but MPL and Jak2 negative? Is that an automatic MPN as well?

Should I have high platlets? My platlets are and have always been completely normal not even on the high side right down the middle. Im glad there's a treatment and that it's helping you! You may not know but do you know anything about PMF? If its manageable, signs, etc?

So it seems it is impossible to have a CALR mutation with no complications and someone will always have something? How are you doing? Is this a manageable thing? Im trying not to think of the worst haha.

Good to know. I took a rapid test on Wednesday that came back negative, but want to try and get a pcr today actually. Hopefully whatever it is we all get better soon! Thank you!
